This is a big step for Samsung. They add a ring profile (can ring and vib at same time), can view photos in full screen, added autofocus to the camera. It's like a complete version of the very best D600. Can't wait to have this !

to eildneitld,
Yes, it can do as follows.
1. vibrate and ring at the same time (mp3 and to any kind of music/sound format)
2. Vibrate then ring
3. ring then vibrate.
Just like the D820

Hey guys, im planning on getting a D900 next week...just wondering does it have the old Samsung problem where if you set your own ringtone, you cant set the vibrate along with it. You have to use a special program to "attach" the vibration to the ring tone. anyone know the answer to that?

Yes you can.
And Shaw, thanks for such a mature comment. We are all now enlightened thanks to you.
Not American by any chance? Would never have guessed...

Dont think it can be changed, but hardly a big deal unless you have some kind of a mental problem..

Ringing volume: first ring is v quiet.
Second and following is as loud as you have set it. And yes, you can make the ringing tone LOUD, but the first "ring" is always quiet.

YES you can write txts while the music player is playing in the background.
You can also browse your pictures while hte music player is playing, but you CANNOT view them or the music player will stop.
Once you exit viewing the picture, the music player will start again from the point at which the music/mp3 stopped for you to look at your photo.
Hope this helps.

Hi. Couple of quick questions. From what i have read here in this forum, i have concluded the phone even when on max volume for ringing, rings once on a lower volume? Is this right and can it be changed?

predicitive text is set as default on D900.
TO save a message when u send it, you have to click 'options' and then click 'send and save'.
It then sends and saves the message. One of the few annoying things about this phone - shame you cant set 'save and send' as the text msg default.

Hi There
I am looking got change my E900 for the D900 and just need to know. Do you have to set the predictive text settings each time you text as you do on the E900?
This annoys the hell out of me as I always use predictive.
Cheers

sms TIP:(someone mentioned it takes ages)
1.you have shorcut to send sms by pressing left on a joystick (should be set by default)
2.once types a message instead of clicking Options click OK, that's jump straight to the numbers and select the phone and OK again.
3.The same when replies. Quick and easy.
The only thing it doesn't save sent messages automatically (at least i don't know how to make it so)
