Hello to one and all i can answer all your questions ever so easily as i have gone and bought the D900. 1. it doesnt have those awful touch screen buttons that no one likes. 2. no you cant personalise your message ring tones which is a bit gutting when your used to doing that but you dont really need them anyway! 3. the music player is everything i have ever wanted, its set in 3D mode which looks really nice and the music is crisp and clear and can go quite loud. 3. the colour screen is just fantastic, when i saw it turn on for the first time it put my old phone which wasnt even a year old to shame!!! 4. the slim line appearance is beautiful, people comment in the street how nice it looks, and it hardly noticable when in pockets or coats. 5.the camera is crisp and clear with a fab atuo focus. 6. and with the memory i dont even think i have enough stuff to fill it! (oh and my boyfriend wants to add you get tetrus and sonic the hedge hog as games!!!) i hope this can help, i would encourage any one to buy one i love mine, thanks for all your questions and answers to

I havent tried yet, but the Samsung PC software does have a "synchronise" option so i would assume yes you can synchronise with Outlook, etc.
Also, considering you can view MS office files (Word, PP) and pdf's, i cant see why you wouldnt be able to synchronise with MS software.
And before you ask, no i dont have enough time to actually try it out.

The N73 is a brick cos its made by... Nokia. Good phone, but yes.. a clumsy, bulky brick.. And it is a bit geeky to ask "which is better" as well, cos it purely comes down to your needs and wants.
D900 and K800 are similarly matched. Personally, my opinion would be swayed by looks and size. If you found the N73 too much of a brick, then i bet you'll find the K800 a brick as well. The latter is also a bit of an ugly b4stard.
In which case, the D900 'wins' but only because of looks and size. It might not be the smallest, but it IS one of the slimmest, making it very pocket friendly.
Its a bit like asking: "Which is better, Angie or J Lo?" To which i would reply Angie, because she is smaller and slimmer and better looking. They both do the same thing, so you cant compare. But you can compare size and looks.. Personal preference..

"How loud is the ring on the phone in comparison to the sony ericsson W600?"
Who would know that apart from a nausing geek? I dont know, but what i am pretty confident is that both will be pretty 'audible' if thats what concerns you. And yes, the D900 does have a 'loud' ring...
"Can you upload MP3 songs to the phone and use them as ringtones? and does the volume quality change?"
Yes you can. And no, the speaker is pretty good, so the volume quality doesnt necessarily get affected.
"Overall how does this phone compare to the motorola V3x?"
Again, im really not geek enough to know, but considering you are talking about a sh*tty Motorola, i would say there really is no contest. Not knowing of one good phone that Motorla have ever made, how you could even ask the question beggars beleif. American mobile design is truly awful and even though Moto software is less user friendly than a Vic 20, the disigns are so bland it actually hurts.
I hope that answers your question.

To save a sent message, once the message has been written press "options" and then "save and send". It will then save and send the message.
Its annoying this isnt/you cant set this as the default, but then thats just Jap design..
TO tom
You must have mighty fat fingers then cos i sure dont have that problem!
To gem
Not sure and to be honest it isnt a massive problem really is it?
Remember a mobile phone is there to call and text people first, not snap photos or record video. The latter are what are called "extras" and hence the devices ability to do such a thing will always be just "adequate".
Hence, phones like this probably arent capable of more than an hours recording. But thats hardly something to moan about.
Perhaps if the D900 was useless at calling and texting people, i might join you in asking ridiculous questions about its performance.
(NB: if you want more than an hours recording, can i suggest something called a camcorder? It will probably cost you less and work a whole lot better, what with recording video being its 'native' use. Juses christ.....)

To D.
THe D900 does NOT have touch sensitive buttons, thanks f*ck!
To P@1G
Silent mode on the D900 is easily done by simply holding down the # key.
To Sublime
Dont think you can on the D900. Thats the only problem with phones like this that dont have an O/S - its a pain in the balls trying to personalise your phone.
But then the trade off with that is that you get a cool, sleek looking phone, as a pose to a bulky, ugly looking geek phone. Like a Nokia...

hi guys,
I like more the ring then vibrate feature of samsung phones because when you are in a cinema/private place or in a meeting and you forget to silent mode your phone, you do not have to lower the volume by yourself using the side keys in order for you not to disturb others. The phone immediately goes to vibration mode after 2 ringing and that is cool and comfortable.
