To CJ;

Sorry, I don't have the full version of that track.
Here is another sample of binaural sound recording- 'The Virtual barbershop':

http://www.4shared.com/file/35029477/5ca91d63/virtual_haircut.html

You need a stereo headset.
IMPORTANT; make sure that the 3D sound in the music player(short cut key-4)is turned OFF. I repeat, it should be turned OFF while playing binaural rcordings. I shall correct it in my guide also. And for best results, close your eyes while listening. Caution; don't put too much volume at the first time. Try it, it's amazing.

This sound track is superb with Jabra BT620s bluetooth stereo headset.

    Hi Rajesh,

In your "Tips&Tricks4", a 3D sound demo is given which is too short. Where can I get some other 3D sound/song or atleast the full version of your demo.

i got my d900 for Christmas, and i just find it simply amazing. the images are really clear, i love the autofocus feature. i love the whole of the phone, except for some (-) stuff about it: its low sound for alerts and i cant change my tones to truetones..

but overall, the phone is great! had no technical problems with it so far..

          Hi,

I just got a D900i and I'm having problems with the battery - I'll leave it on charge for 12 hours and then 12hrs after that it'll need charging again! I'm only using it for texts and the occasional, very brief call. I've never known a phone to have such short battery life. Any ideas what might be causing it or anyone else had this problem?

          Thanks :)

                  pls help! for D900
im trying to download mxit but after 99% it ends with a "install error". i try their earlier versions of mxit but the same thing. i tried getjar site and can download a few other programs but some give same error. i tried your programs to download from pc using usb.there too some load and others give errors.
lastly i tried to reset the phone but still same error.
                  Any advise,pls.
i need mxit to chat to my friends and family as this is a cheaper way to keep in contact.
is there another messenger that could work for the d900

                    ASRAR

Your firmware is the first release in 2006 october and it is a release for an Arab country. Newer version is available in the page you mentioned.

If you have no warranty, you may get the phone flashed at a service center. If you plan to do it yourself, get a tutorial from somewhere. You can find a link to D820 flashing in this forum. Type 'Yarik' in the search box at the bottom of this page to find my post to Yarik.(Don't know D900 flashing process is the same or not) You also need a FLASH CABLE, not the data cable for flashing. Click on the below link and scroll down the page to find the flash cable for D900.
                    http://www.fonefunshop.co.uk/datacables/samsung.htm#unlock

Regarding the firmware version, select D900XEFK1 in that page. A newer version D900XEFK2
                    is available here:
                    http://en.soft4gsm.com/Unlock+Solutions/Samsung+UST+PRO+II/Firmware+%26+Flash+Files/European+Flash+Files/D900/

I am not expert in flashing.

Before adopting flashing, you may try this short custom reset method and see whether the bluetooth problem is corrected. But before doing this YOU MUST BACK-UP THE CONTACTS LIST, as this will erase all contacts. You may do this by using PC studio software(manage contacts or synchronise with outlook).

The process: Type *2767*2878# in standby.
Wait for some time. Phone will restart. If not, press red button to restart phone.

                    THE RESULTS
                    ................

                    1. Your phone will be reset to the original settings.
                    2. Password will be reset to 00000000
                    3. Contacts will get erased
                    4. Music playlists will become empty(add songs from phone/card again)
                    5. No files in phone or memory card will be deleted. They are safe.

The custom reset method is safe and if there is the slightest risk, that you have to take yourself :-) Goodluck !

thnx RAJESH for ur immediate response..
                      my firmware is D900JPFJ1...
i got it as gift from my cousin who lives abroad..
it doesnt support any warranty claims...so i dont find any other solution to the problem...or i have to take it to the repairing lab.who will surely change its harware..
i hav consulted some ppl they say it might hav some problem with phone software...
my bluetooth problem is that whenever i try to switch it on it says "activating bluetooth" this msg bar goes endlessly..
then i hav to slide down the phone to end bt.
aftr taht if i open bluetooth again.the menu sshows that bt is off but if i try this time to switch it on..phone says it is already activated..but it is not searched by any device....
then if i press the switch off button the phone hangs nd i have to restart..
this is my whole problem..i will b greatly thankful to u if u tell me any solution without flashing the phone.

ASRAR,Think twice before flashing a phone. I hope you are aware of the conequences. Flashing will void the warranty of your phone forever, it may alter the IMEI, you may get some advantages and you will probably lose some features. To read more go to the bottom of this page and enter 'flashing' in the search box.

Also the firmware versions given in that page are old releases. The newest in the list for D900 is Nov2006.(Flashing with a D908 firmware may change the language-not sure) And your phone is likely to have a new version. If you have difficulty in determining this, post the firmware code here and it will be explained. Type *#1234# in standby to get the code.

My suggestion, you go back to the dealer as yours is a new phone. Btw what is the bluetooth problem?

Does this happen for every contact saved? Or some particular contact only?

Thanx for that, yea i figured it out by accident anyway. Another question, how come it doesnt recognise the number as the same contact when it starts with 04.. instead of +614? So if i have a contact saved in my phone, and i recieve a message from that person, their name doesnt appear above the message, instead their number does, but starting with +614 instead of 04. Do i have to change all my numbers to start with +614? i hope not! (+614 is the area code thing)

I can't seem to turn off the keypad tones. i can put it on silent, but i cant have it on loud with out keypad tones. When i go into settings, sound settings, the menu choice 'keypad tone' is faded out! So i cant change it. Why is it doing that!? And also are u able to have msg tones other then the default ones?? Please answer :D THnx
