      i will still with u mxima cuz i know use know mmore that the people in the fone shop.. so can anyone tell me if i can store themes on my fone....i mean themes like sport cars,football etc etc

              To Gideon P. Pieterse;

              A common issue. To confirm you are proceeding through the right steps, do as follows:
              1. Uninstall PC Studio......
              (..........insert the cd again......select language....select 'install sam pc studio'....choose REMOVE option....finish uninstalling.....
              .......now select 'install usb drivers'.....repair/remove option should come up.....choose remove and finish....if instead of repair/remove window, the installation wizard starts, that means you have not installed usb drivers in the first attempt, then cancel the wizard and exit set up
              .......exit set up and remove cd)

              2.Disconnect the data cable from the pc, if it is connected. IMPORTANT; NEVER CONNECT THE DATA CABLE TO PC UNTIL YOU ARE ASKED TO DO SO.

              3.Insert the cd again. Select Install pc studio. Proceed through the set up. Before you press 'Finish', UNCHECK 'LAUNCH PC STUDIO' option. This is to prevent pc studio attempting to connect before you install the drivers.

              (AT ANY STAGE OF SET UP, CANCEL THE LIVE UPDATES WINDOW. You may do it later at any time)

              4.Install 'USB Driver'. After finishing this, exit the main set up window. You may install the sample media files now or later as you like. Don't remove the cd now.

              5.Click on the samsung pc studio icon on the desktop. Select connection type as 'USB' and press next. When you are asked to connect the phone through data cable, do it. Ignore (not cancel) the 'add new hardware' window, if it pops up.

              6. After a while, D900 will be identified. press Finish.

              If D900 is not identified and elapsed time goes on endlessly, cancel the connection wizard, remove the data cable from pc and connect again. The 'Add new hardware' window wizard will start. Proceed by pressing next and it will install the drivers. Then restart pc and try opening PC Sudio again.

              Try it and write back. Take care about the 3 points mentioned in CAPS, above.

                Please help me. I tried to connect my Samsung D900 with my PC. All the installations from the CD was donloaded and I upgraded the D900 from the internet but still it refuse to connect with the UCB cable to the PC. I use Windows XP and was previously ok.

                  I had this phone but soon got rid.The sound from this phone is brill but the camera is totally usless. The flash made the pictures darker. I seen better pictures from a vga.Also the menue is a pain to get use to. But if its sound your after then this is good but not for anything else.
                  I quickly went beck to se after this one.

                    To SOROUSH;

                    You can install java applications.
                    Go to menu/browser/Enter url and enter http:// operamini.com. Follow the first link 'download operamini'. That will install operamini ver 4.0. If this version doesn't install properly, delete it, then go back to operamini.com and select 'Try the old operamini 3'. This will work without problem.

                    Operamini 1.2 is a good web browser and also an excellent filemanager. The only minus of om1.2 compared to om 3.0 is that the available version is unofficial and not fully secure, for instance when you check mail etc. To know more about operamini 1.2, go to Usman's website by clicking this link:

                        does this phone support installing java apps on it?
                        it's browser just supports wap and i wanna know if i can install opera mini on it.

                          I can’t get to send or received mms on my d900 nor get to connect to the web. I took it in to my service provider GTT cellink plus and the tech guy said to get an other make phone. He gives me the browser setup info for GTT. I try it on a my other phone (L7 ) and d900 only the the L7 I get to work. Can anyone help me? I love this phone.

                              WILLIAM. The people in the fone shops don't know everything about every phone. Here you have expert D900 owners.(some anyway). Stick with us.

                                i understand maxima. but y use u go on a web site to find out about ur fone. thats the people in the fone shops are for. they should tell you why ur fone is all about.

                                  WILLIAM. If I understand your posting correctly, yes this has become a question and answer Forum for operation of the excellent D900. The so called "User Guide" is a joke (I could say inadequate) so you need something like this. There is always someone here who can help. Next question please ! Happy New Year.

                                    wma not compatible with D900 (or other phones based on the dragonfly platform).

                                    you can easily convert wma to mp3 and upload to phone using PC Studio 3.1

                                        thats the problem with the d900 wen u break somthing on it like u said ur keypad broke, its hard to get them fixed with i wouldent bother. because wen u get it fixed it will breck again twice as bad as the first time. the d900 is not a good fone.
