To get rid of the horrible menu strip on the phone thanks to orange you will have to get it debranded. The kit can be bought on line or bring it to a phone shop but not all of them will do this.
I had to do this with mine. Bought the kit on line and all is sorted now.

@ Barle
probally its just a software problem. It can be helped out the world easily.
I dont know if the software udates are on the site of samsung, but you can try it there. Otherwise go to the shop where you bought the phone and they should fix the problem. (Or imidiatly or by sending it for reparation, thats how we do it here in my shop)

Raj, please do not bother yourself with my issue anymore!
this issue was just solved on another forum.
FYI and for others how read this forum here is the solution for MP3 that can not be played and present "not supported content":
some mp3 songs have tags on them, for instance a picture of the artist.
these tags are (at least partially) not supported by the phone and can cause this error message!
all you got to do before creating a new playlist is load the songs to an app that removes the tags and you will have no issues.
here is a link to an application that solved the issue for the specific song creating my problem:
http://www.mp3tag.de/en/
note this is important not only so you can hear all songs on the phone, but so you will not have songs that stuck your playlist and require irritating user interference.

the reason your fones battery life isnt that long is probably it hasnt been charged for long enoguh, even though it says 3 bars or battery life you should charge it for longer. i charge my d900 over night and it lasts about 5 days. XD. i love this phone but it scratches easily.

Hi Raj,
happy to see you back in the forum :-)
hope your Laptop issue is solved now...
anyway, i tried everything you wrote and the issue is not solved. the issue does not seem to be related to the song's name in any way.
this issue is very bothering as when i have this kind of song in a play list it stuck my playlist. i just want to know how to detect and avoid such songs in the future. i tried sending you this kind of song via mail in order to see if this is a local problem with my phone/firmware or a global issue.
10x for the help.

Tals, Try this also: RENAME the track....... With a SHORT and simple name. Save, switch off the phone, restart and try playing the track again. Please let me know the result

when i try to play it the phone displays:

when i play the song on the PC it is working fine and when i look in the properties it does not seem to be any different than my other mp3 songs: 128K bit rate, 4.61MB, type is mp3 format sound.

KONNAN. Did you format first ? You can tap in Sandisk at foot of this page and search for info. However, the only memory card guaranteed to work is the 512mb SanDisk Transflash Micro SD card. You can get one on eBay.
