    Okay, um i got my Samsung D900 a few days ago and i think that the terrible i also have a Samsung D508i and that pictures that you can take with it are amazing but other than that the Samsung D900 is great. Also the fact that you cant download musoc with out a bluetooth is so suckish, i mean i can only get song from the computer if i transfer them from someone elses phone (if they have bluetooth)

    Oh and P.S. if you havent heard the song "the way i are" by:timberland ft. keri &d.o.e. you should so hear it im putting that song on my mp3 right now well bye and i hope everybody enjoys there cell phones

                I have recently got this phone and i absolutely love it !
                There is quite a few negative reviews of this phone so i was a bit worried but its great!
                It looks great and is super slim.
                With a 1MB microSD card it can hold loads of photos, videos and music.
                There are a few cute little games.
                The music player is great and you can have music playing while doing other things on the phone.
                The camera is excellent and you can take all sorts of photos, with mosaic shots and frames with clip arts. There is a slight delay when you take the photo but to be honest i have hardly noticed it, although you do have to be careful not to move it after the photo is taken.
                Also, although it may look very flimsy its fine for generally being in your pocket, you dont have to be TOO careful although i have had mine in a 'phone sock' to look after it a little.

                I absolutely love this phone and recommend it fully.

                  To Oni1983 : Re: games installation

                  Keep the both jar and jad files in the SAME folder in your pc and visit http://phonetutorials.tk/ for instructions. It may take some time for the first few installations, but once you get practised, it's all easy!

                    Hey I've had my d900 for more than 6 months now and it it great!! my previous phone wa also a samsung and i pretty much guess that if i have to buy another mobile phone it would be another samsung as they were all great! the only thing that bothers me is that i cannot understand how to download games! i tried to install several .jar and .jad files but the phone always says that they are unsupported files. another problem is that when i take pics in the dark with the flash, the pics end up just being dark even though the flash works perfectly.

                        Yap K800 takes a bit better pics than D900 but that's ok these belong to top 3 camera phones,on the other hand it captures better videos than K800,it has TV out ,totally both are good phones and were chosen as 2007 award winners,depends on your mood which to choose

                                Why, that was a matter of discussion here when the global mobile awards 2007 were announced by the GSM WORLD CONGRESS. May be because you are new to this forum. Here is the link:

                                    To HELLO123;

                                    NEVER BUY D900-i !!

                                    Now I can say this, because, after reading my guide mentioned below, many people write to me asking where to find the file viewer...how to install java through usb...how to increase volume and so on. I wonder whether samsung forgot to add all these things in D900-i when they fitted it with an FM radio !! At first I couldn't believe that the picsel file viewer is missing in it; but that's the fact. See this;

                                    http://forum2.mobile-review.com/showthread.php?t=66425

                                    Another problem is that the common serial java enable code for dragonfly phones (#*536963#) is not working in it !

                                    http://forum2.mobile-review.com/showthread.php?t=66708

                                    I tried my best to help somebody in java installation, but failed ! I know people go crazy not being able to do this. See this post:

                                    http://forum2.mobile-review.com/showpost.php?p=581197&postcount=33

                                    The latest handicap that I've noted in D900 is that if you press and hold the volume key in stand by, nothing happens ! (In d900, this will show time, date and a summary of missed calls/new messages). See this page:

                                    http://forum2.mobile-review.com/showthread.php?t=67108

                                    (GRAJESHG in all these pages is myself)

                                    After reading this, if you go to D900-i page and enter keyword 'trusted' in the search box at the bottom, you can see NOOB, one of the many affected, expressing his disappointment about the missing document viewer.
                                    So better choose the D900, which is the award winner for best gsm phone this year. And if FM radio is essential for you, U600 may be the better option. Decide yourself.

                                    .................................................................................

                                    To Dr. Adedoyin, you always give me that support and encouragement; thanks Doctor.

                                        hi

                                        you cant set mp3 tones as message tones, you can only used the pre-installed ones.

                                        the difference between d900 and d900i - the d900i is the updated version with a fm radio and different font text for menu, also comes in metallic chrome. not much else really.

                                        regards
