Hey does anyone know how to set these phones up for wap and pxt see i dont know how and at the moment ma phone is kinda useless if someone could tell me it would be cool

MICHAEL ANGELO; That means you are using PC Studio version 3.0(3.0.1). For converting wma to mp3, update the application to ver.3.1(3.1.1). You can do this by opening PC studio and tools...check for updates And it will take some time to update.
But I RECOMMEND YOU to download Pc Studio ver3.1 from the following link and save the set up file in another location so that you can easily change back to ver.3.0, and again to ver3.1 whenever you like. (just insert the cd again to convert to 3.0) You may need to do this because some good features like extracting audio from video and saving as ringtone etc DO NOT work in ver.3.1.
In ver 3.1, select 'Manage multimedia files' select 'music' tab. then file...get files...from pc. select the song, it will be copied to the library. click to select the song. then right-click and select 'edit and fix'. In the edit sound window, when the song is loaded, click on the 'Save to Phone' icon(bottom right end). In the save to phone' window, select file format mp3 and setting '128kbps'. And press save; done. And if you want to save to pc and later to copy to mem card, click on the 'save as' icon, just on the left of 'to phone' icon. Select 'save as type' mp3 and setting 128kbps. and save.

hi i'm back with an inquiry...
rajesh, how do you convert a wma file to an mp3 and aac file using the software? when i tried it, it just said that the program can't open the wma file since it is not supported... hope you can answer my question. thank you very much...

SAEED; She can play 3gp as well as mp4(30fps) videos. And captures in high quality mp4 format(its a speciality of samsung) in 4 sizes upto QVGA(320X240) & CIF (352X288). Also it can record small videos in QCIF(176X144) in 3gp format for mms.

It will be interesting to know what versions those cracked screen d900 are. There might be a pattern. So Guys with cracked screens lets know what your phone versions are.

No. Supports mp3/mp4/m4a/aac.....but you can convert wma to mp3/aac with the help of the accompanying software

I'm buying a new LCD screen for my d900 cuz it cracked like all the other uk phones, sooooo i'm tryin to figure out how to tell if the lcd screen is from asia, uk or the US. Does anybody know how to tell??

Its all very easy. (press *#1234# in standby to see the firmware version.) Of the last 5 characters, the FIRST TWO(DX for Kenny's phone) specifiy your region (I guess all uk phones start with X; i.e, XA, XE etc).............
The THIRD one(G for Kenny's ph) shows the year - count 2001 as A, 2002 as B etc..........
The 4TH one(A for Kenny's phone) indicates the month - count Jan as A, Feb as B........
The last figure(2 for Kenny's) shows the number of release in that month - there are many revisions of firmware in each month......

So your phone firmware is the second revision of January 2007; a new version.

............... .............. and I'm using 2 batteries for about 6 months and the battery performance has only IMPROVED now. I'm also using a genuine battery charger. It also depends on your charging habits. Charge only on battery low message and charge it to full at a strech.
