VIADO. T9 Predictive Text works in English and 7 other languages. Impressive or what! Go MENU 9 - 2 - 1 to select.

Pl:help me avi video files are supported to this d900. which converter is best for converting to 3gp because in 3gp format video song quality is not good. Please help in this regard. Samsung D820 is supported to avi files which i was using before this.

MARK, thanks for info about T9. I guess 900 qualifies after all as a model with option to turn it off. I understand that the difference betweent turn-off and scroll is in how long you hold the * button pressed. I type a lot in non-English, so T9 is a nuissance for me. As for the ZOOM view, I presume it works for both read and write. Changing the font size then may not be an issue. I think I will buy this phone. Thanks again.

to yarik,,its a shame but i would say that the d900 macro is better than normal shots for me.I get superb clarity on close ups but obviously it is always up to the person..Remember always when arguments or tittle tattle go on in the forums its your money your eyes and your ears some people cant stand the music that comes out of my boombox ?????

KRIS; this phone must recognize genuine mp4 formats and plays them well!
(PC studio ver.3.1 can convert mp4 to 3gp)

Hi I recently purchased this phone and i'm not really pleased! I can't get the external display to stay on so i never know when i've missed a call or if i have a text! The text never tells you who it is only that you have received one! The worst bit is the buttons are so annoyingly small and i'v only little fingers so not for the broad handed! Its got most of the technology u need but it is in no way user friendly!! Definatley think i'm going to swap it..

Hi,
Can anyone help with a small problem. When I convert mp4 video files to 3gp to play on my D900 there is no sound. I have tried keeping the files in mp4 format, but the phone doesn't recognise them. I'm using the imtoo 3gp converter.

TO PJ: Try this. For Gmail. SMTP: smtp.gmail.com and POP: pop.gmail.com. If you are asked to enter the server port numbers, enter 465 for SMTP and 995 for POP3. (if port numbers are there by default, keep them as they are)

how do you set up your d900 so you can send picture messages to your Gmail or Email accounts?
I am having difficulty setting up my phone in the Email settings in the phone where it asks for SMTP and POP,whats that all about!!!?

Hey Raj I changed my D900 twice and i still had that autofocus problem no macro or close up pics and whatever the camera really sux in this phone or maybe its just samsung that dont know how to build hardware...so i finally switched to SE K800 with a real digital camera and not that D900 fake 3mp that makes the same pics as a SE W800/K750.well i just wanted to say tnxx for the help for My X D900...and to all of you people if your lookig for a Reag digicam Buy K800 or N95

OGGY, connect phone and pc with cable, then in phone, settings..phone settings..usb settings and select mass storage. Card data will be shown as a removable disk in My Computer

A Comment on the previous entry. When you press and hold vol key, you can see NUMBER of missed calls and new messages also.

Is anyone able to use the camera without a memory card inserted? i.e., just using the phone's internal memory. I'm not able to and this surprises me, so I'm wondering if this is just a feature of the phone or if i'm doing something wrong.

To RBASHIR. To display time and date in standby mode, press and hold LH side button. You have to open up to check for missed calls.

hello guys
can anyone tell me how to display the time in standby mode? also how to see the missed calls when the phone is in standby mode because the screen is dark and can't see the missed call alert with out pressing the unlock button
