Does anybody know of a better handsfree (better sound) that is compatible with this set? The provided one is good, but it could have been even better!

The sound quality is great. Both in Speakers & in Handsfree.
My Equilizer doesnt get reset, they remain constant as applied no matter how many times you changes the songs 0r from where u play it from.
Bluetooth transfer is great & fast. U can even transfer a file/song which is more than 4MB (Phone Memory) in size troghu Bluetooth.
User interface is simple.
Batetry life is good (Lasted 3 days with good MP3 listening).
Build quality is great.

Phone memory is low (Only 4MB).
Can't minimize music player/ Can't lock the keypad either while playing songs(so cant keep it in pocket).
BTW.. I yet dont know how to change/ create profiles?
I can only put it in silent * come back to normal

sumit, 27 Aug 2009You can not play music in backgroung.At one time only one p... morehello SUMIT, music player can be easily minimized. You have to change some settings only. And thus you can simultaneously do messaging, browse internet, play downloaded java games ,etc.

those sets mfg before march ,which hv blutooth trnsfr deficncy..are good in quality sound but the sets after march are producing cracky sound also erphon sound is not gd....can any one tell me..wheather blue magic(bluetooth hacking soft) software is working on this set or not.....
-> can samsung ppl make a bluetooth softwr jar/jad which can rectify the prob ,by updating the entire phone software the sound quality is getting distorted

Because it is somewhat lengthy process for the first time but easy to use after done once. I can explain that if you can call me on my prescribed number .

the sound quality is great but only with the handsfree supplied in the box.but if u use another handsfree model thn it will affect your ears badly.ione day my default handsfree ie aaep401 got problem so i went to the service center n the gave me aaep407 whose sound quality is like chineese handsfree n it gave me a headache while listening music n eventualy my doctor said that it effected my ears badly.

Pl... morewell u cant use other mp3 player than its defaul player as it does not support file access in applications.but u can install new applications.if using gprs then its an easy task but for installing from jar files,transfer the jar and jad file of the application to the memory card in the same folder.then press the central button on the jad file.if it says"not allowd" then come to the main screen and dial a number"*#9998*4678255".then come back to the jad file and press the central button on it .

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970You will have to take ur mobile to ur samsung care. Talk is dat it'll be better than the present software (music player) with less bugs. But if I know these 'customer cares' we'll have to wait at least an year b4 they release/update our mobile soft.!

This phone is for music purpose there is no camera , but the sound quality is great im using this phone frm past i year. tottaly it value for money rather then buying a chinese toyphone Heehhehe regards! Praveen Kumar 9716941575
