Hello Everyone,
Here's the guide to install java files.
You need .jar & .jad files. if u only have .jar file than u can create .jad using http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/JADMaker-Download-8344.html.
Once you have both the .jar & .jad files transfer the files to the 'Other Files' folder on the phone.
Exit all menus & dial *#9998*4678255# You will get a message saying "Activated"
On your phone, Go to the Other Files folder >> Select the .jad file >> Press Options >> Message displays: Information >> Press Yes to install.
If u get java IO error than you have to rename .jar & .jad file. Open the .jad file in notepad & search for MIDlet-Jar-URL: rename the files with the name mentioned
If u get invalid format error than you just need to arrange the line breaks in the jad file properly. Don't ask me how to do it.

Do as Follows:
- First go to the security menu in the settings and in privacy tick the myfiles option, press save and enter your password.
- After that open the mp3 player, play the song that you want.
- After that press the up button, it goes to the album.
- Then go to options, Add Music From, Memory Card. It will ask for the password, dont enter the password and just press the hangup button (the red one).

I would like to know whether you can download messages when you connect your phone to pc and use latest PC Studio, like in Nokia with PC Suite.
Also let me know in which format does it gets saved.
If anyone can provide me with the e-mail id who use PC Studio to connect this phone it will be better.

E1410, 13 May 2009can we record calls ? or the conversation among both peopl... moreyes. u can record call conversation... just go to menu while u r still talkin n just record, u can find voice recorder in application, voice clarity is good, but but but u can only record till ur phone memory finishes

I want to know like Nokia opens with PC Suite, is this phone viewable with PC Studio.
Can i transfer sms from phone to my pc, like nokia. In which format are these sms stored in this phone, like .vmg for Nokia.

BE CAREFUL BEFORE BUYING THIS PHONE!! WHY??
COZ,
1) The damn phone "BEEPS" after the call is ended or
after a missed call with a sufficient loud tone
in "Silent mode!!! If you are in a classroom you
are in a soup dude!!!!!
2) The phone DOES-NOT ring if the earphone is plugged!
Rather it starts vibrating!
3) Earphone is loud, but quality same as 50 Rs. china
earplugs. "No Bass" response at all and unbalanced
output from the two earphones being a Music phone!!
(C-170 earphones far superior)

sandy, 10 Jun 2009ok then go to samsung site...there u find the softwr samsun... moresorry sandy I can't connect to net via gprs over bluetooth to pc! I follow all the procedure that you refer. when I want to connect an Error 734 shows that the PPP link control protocol was terminated. I used bsnl kolkata network.
I have another quries, when I used samsung pc studio, in phone explorer application I can find the phone's memory (images,music,sounds and other files), but not finding any memory card menu or it's sub-menus. Is it my phone's problem or its a bug created by manufacturer?
please help!

can anyone tell me whats the problem that was occurred with this mobile..... when i started to attend an incoming call and after the call ended my sim started to refreshing automatically for each call.... is this a problem with the mobile or its sim problem ................... very urgent bcz i puchased it two days back so kindly reply to my question pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee........
