this is cheap and best phone.....but i found some problem like when you are playing music player in E 250..You cant use the phone in other mode like cant play game with the music player.......even you can not chnage the radio channel through headphone button........

I am using this phone for 2 months this phones is really great.the price is really affordable. great features the radio is good but the battery is average.i will give it 8/10.

i checked with market the price of e250 is 4900/- probably this one is the best. please reply if the price is ok

for all u people having prblm with the VOLUME of e250
here is the ultimate solution FOR INCREASING SPEAKER VOLUME:-
1) type *#8999*8378# then
2)go to H/W test option-2
3)then audio settings option-2
4)then go to ISS normal2 option-13
5)then go to Rx vol. then go till the last....level 14 enter the voll around 2250-3200 this much is enough

I finally succeeded in installing some java games to my Samsung E250 via bluetooth. I thought I would share the info on how I do it here because it seems to be a frequent unanswered question on various forums. You will need a *.jad and a *.jar file for your game.
1) Download SoftickPPP and Samsung Java Uploader.exe from here. Also JADmaker if required.
2) Install SoftickPPP according to this Polish website. I don't understand Polish, but the pictures tell enough of the story. Set up your bluetooth COM ports in the SoftickPPP bluetooth/serial settings. My Bluetooth COM ports are either 24, 25 or 26. I leave them all ticked.
3) Enter *#52828378# on the phone to access the Java Test Menu. Choose OTA type setting, choose Serial bearer OTA. Click select. (This seems to need to be changed back to GPRS bearer OTA for Samsung PC Studio to connect)
4) Start SoftickPPP. Click on cancel for the missing USBPort.dll error message. Accept bluetooth connections for DUN and Serial connections on the phone.
5) Choose 'Activate PPP' by right clicking on the icon in the taskbar. Accept connections on phone again.
6) Start 'Uploader.exe' and then add the required jad file. Leave the program open.
7) If you are not still in the Java Test Menu then enter *#52828378# on the phone again. Select 'Serial test', 'PPP Up', 'Bluetooth' on phone, 'Serial download'. My phone sometimes restarts at this point in which case I have to choose 'Shutdown PPP" in the taskbar icon and then re-activating it once the phone has restarted and then re-do step 7 after entering the Java Test Menu again.
A Java splash screen should appear with a progress bar showing the upload of the file. The game then starts automatically.
There we go. It works for me

Am happy of you people, am from a Country called Kenya that is Africa. my city is Nairobi. Now i reset my samsung phone using the codes from your site #*7337# and worked well but the IMEI changed to 00000000000000/0 how do i set it buck to the original IMEI. please help am your fun. HELP!!!!!!!

it's a good phone overall, but i have a problem with its memory card, that when i want to access "memory card files", it displays an error message as "not allowed", i have checked my memory card and it's ok, also check other memory card and generates the same problem, can any one tells me what is the problem, is it phone problem or some settings that phone demands before using memory card, thanks in advance

after posting ways to download games through wap and computer now i have got the way to increase the sound of the music player how many of u want that plzzz post here
also the succes rate of games through the softick method is only 50 % post now
i have increased the volume by leaps and bounds

I`ve had a brick phone for 12 years.my husband bought me this phone in September.Beautiful appealing to the eye.I`ve got the silver one.Playing with it like crazy!All I have against it is 1.When you enter birthday it doesn`t kick out the age of the person as well like the Nokia 6250.I was spoilt with that.2.You have no sms alert tones you can set.Onlu the phones own.Why?The instruction booklet is a bit of Greek to me.
But I love the Samsung E250.Also the plastic cover for the phone keeps on breaking.

In dragonfly platform not able to install java apps via memory card and also the slide gets damage after the long use.... Battery life is not good... Screen resolution in video cannot be operated in full screen mode... Anyway it is good and worth....

Well... My Friend has just bought this phone on Vodafone. It looks great BUT the vodafone interface is terrible and the loudspeaker is quiet... if you want something to impress your mates then this probably not the right phone for you, if you want an on budget and stylish piece of eqipment and aren't too bothered with lack of feautures then this fantastic!... but if you'd rather have a music phone go for the Nokia 5300 =]

after completing the whole process dont dont forget to change the ota type settings again back to gprs bearer else ur gprs wont run
for this key in the same no. *#52828378# press 2 ota type setting and select gprs bearer ota.
else ur handset will reboot when u will run gprs

USING USB CABLE....
How to install java games using usb data cable
1:First download Softic PPP from this URL
'http://www.softick.com/ppp/' and install it to your PC. Ignore any errors about usbsync.dll by pressing ok.Leave the option use usb in shared mode checked.
Run when finished installing.Youll get an error message about being unable to locate usbport.dll , just click cancel.
2: Plug in your usb cable and turn phone on.
3: Right click on softickppp running in your taskbar and select settings.
In the usb tab uncheck accept ppp connection on usb and tick both use usb in exclusive mode and overide usb compatability check
Click on ok and completely exit softickppp by right clicking then exit.
4: Run softickppp and again goto settings. On the bluetooth\serial tab tick the correct com port . mine is com3. Then click ok
5: On your phone key in *#52828378# press 2 ota type setting and select serial bearer ota.
6.DOWNLOAD JAVA UPLOADER FROM THIS URL AND DONT FOLLOW THE STEPS THOSE ARE FOR D500

Run samsung java uploader and add your jad file
7 On your phone select 3 serial test , 1 ppp up , 2 usb
Your phone will now reboot. While its rebooting right cklick on softickkppp in your taskbar and choose shutdown ppp (system rebooting is a process of installing its not tha problem, continue the next action acoording to this method.)
8: When your phone has rebooted again key in *#52828378#
9: Right click softickk ppp and activate ppp
10: On your phones java test menu press 3 serial test , 1 ppp up , 2 usb , 2 serial download
Your game should install and start running. (if after this installation your system hangs then may be that particular game is not supported with your phone or the jad. file is currupt.
IF UR GAME FILE IS JAR THEN CONVERT IT TO JAD FROM SOFTWARE CALLED JADMAKER DOWNLOAD IT BY SEARCHING FROM GOOGLE.

raj don not buy this phone awful memeory. Its all about the sony ercisson k800i or k750i fantastic camera memeory and stylish too all for cheap !!! hop that helps you.

Raj, this phone is very fancy and good, but i suggest you to buy a Samsung (of course, what else..) that feature at least 2Mpx camera, thats all. Otherway, the E 250 is excellent.
