my advice is not to get this phone. It may seem nice when you first get it, but after some time, it starts developing a lot of problems. And it lacks a lot of reasonable features! Dont get it!

This was my second ever camera phone, first one was the Motorola C650.. but this whooped the Motorola's @ss.. solid, reliable, good battery.... but I can't see why people say this phone is discontinued, here in South Africa we also get the latest phones but this phone is still on the market... I've got an MTN brochure in front of me now and this phone's going for R369.00 on prepaid.

This was my second ever camera phone in '06 and was one of the best phones Samsung ever brought out - solid, reliable, good battery.. but I can't see why people say it's discontinued, here in South Africa we're also getting all the latest phones yet this one is still on the market. if you go to http://www.mtn.co.za or http://www.vodacom.co.za you should see it in the prepaid sections, well, got an MTN brochure in front of me now and it's going for R369.00 on prepaid.

Even if it would support 4gb card (and frankly I doubt it does), this phone was launched in 2006 and has been discontinued.If you have this phone and want to extend its storage, I would advice you to purchase a new low-end phone such as Huawei G6600.It has better specs by far compared to the E250, it supports micro SD card up to 16GB and pretty much every detail about it is better(camera, display, keyboard as it is a qwerty phone, etc) and it is a budget phone, you can have it for about 100$.I had one and it was quite impressive for that price.
