i have had this phone for a couple of weeks i do love it as it is cute and girly!
the sound quality isnt great when you talk to people on it, i find it hard to hear them it sounds a bit muffeled so that isnt great.
Does anyone know how to erase your recently used numbers list when you are sending a text message? have a number saved in there that i really dont want anymore and i cant figure out how to reset it!!!!! HELP!

I got this phone yesterday, my lovely partner parted with £199.99 of his hard earned cash to buy it for me! I love it, its small, its sleek and its PINK!!!!!! My only gripes are this - and if i'm doing something wrong please tell me! Message alert tones - there are 10 and you cannot select your own, when it gets a message it does not vibrate - only sounds the tone. And finally when i use my left navi key to write a new message the input style is always ABAB and i want it set to T9Ab without having to hold the * key - can i do this? These gripes are not enough to put me off though and are easy to live with.
Other than that its great, does everything I want and more. This is the phone for you if you are girly girl, if you're not then there are plenty of black/silver phones which do the same stuff out there!
One other small whinge, a data cable/software bundled would have been nice. You get the case snd strap plus earphones, so shame that you have to buy the cable seperately.

so i went to a well known phone selling place today just to have a look at the e530....i just wanted to hold one hehehe. After about 2 seconds of me entering the shop i was literally pounced on by 3 members of staff. A girl sales person took over and was going on and on about how great the phone is...i told her i was only looking and not going to buy today...and they only had the pink one in stock!!! Anyway...20 minutes later with me know where to go she dragged the manager over. I informed them both that i wanted the blue version rather than the pink....manager bloke told me that blue one will not be out for at least a couple of months and that it will only be available on Orange anayway which according to him would be no good for me!!!!?
Anyway...they still refused to listen to me when i said no no no im not going to buy it...and its pink which i dont want...but they got a working one out for me to play with blah blah blah...
45 minutes later i walked out telling them i would go back and talk to them again! Needless to say ill be avoiding that shop in future!!!! Nothing against the phone itself...but i dont like to be forced into buying something im unsure of!!!!
But now...do i hold out for the blue one in the hope the manager bloke was bull pooing me?? or do i just get the pink one which isnt that bad really???
what would you do?

Ok, where is the orange one? Before this came out, it seemed it was only available in orange, then I found out it came in pink, berry and orange, but now, it seems to just come in pink.

Hi. Does anyone knows, if the LED outside the cover flashes in different colors when the phone rings? (like on the E600)
Or is it just used for Cameraflash?

Just bought the 'chic white' version and love it. Also can not get the anolog clock to display longer than 10 seconds, unless I plug in the ear phones then it lasts a bit longer (15 seconds). I find the sound quality excellent and love the features. Had trouble initially connecting with the car kit but downloaded an update for it and now it works fine.

I have had my new pink girlie phone for 2 days now and i do love it so ! My last phone was a bit of a dinosaur so this is a blast of technology for me. I have one complaint . I bought the phone because of the clock face on the front, i really liked it, but i cannot get it to stay on there ! It stays for maybe 5 secs when top is closed and then i goes ! If this is something that cannot be fixed then samsung are guilty of false advertising as most pics of this phone show it with the clock face !

Bought one on O2 in the UK for my wife on Saturday. She was made up until she made her first call. Seems it suffers the same fault as the e720... very distant and tinny sound quality.. struggle to hear caller and they complain they can't hear you. I know 4 people now who have had e720's and returned them and two who have kept them but are now looking to sell.. one has even gon back to her e700. Thought the e530 might have sorted it but no... seems like Samsung are losing the plot while Nokia and SE are finding their form again. Never been a Samsung fan though, even the basic Nokia series 40 interface offers more flexibility than the Samsungs... I mean if you have a megapixel camera you should at least be able to sort the pics into folders and view them full screen etc!!

I use bluetooth to download to my phone. Its really easy and very quick. Best to use songs that are about 3-4kb so you can fit more on. I have about 20 tracks so far with room to spare. Its not loads but makes bus ride more enjoyable!

I love the phone. I have the pink version, which along with the orange seem to be the most common. Since the phon eis not yet available here in Aus I purchased it from ebay (Hong Kong)so my WAP and MMS do not work as yet cause I cant get the correct codes to set it up. But I have my usb dongle to get my MP3's. I LOVE it.
