Gita, i dont understand what you mean about the GPRS and WAP settings, do you mena you cant access it or o2 doesnt provide settings to get on to o2 active, cos i go on it all the time with my e720. I dont see any reason why you shouldnt be able to.

ohh... :(((( I am a bit dissapointed... First of all, O2 network (in UK) does not provide WAP and GPRS services for this model, just for E700, and D500... Can't understand why, because I saw GPRS and WAP on my mobile.???
Next, I am dissapointed, that I cannot play mp3 for the alarm.... Or maybe I don't know how to do it??? Can anyone help??? By the way, how to download mp3 songs from my PC to this mobile? Should I buy Bluetooth for PC or is it better to use a cable???

great resolution,even da digits r incolor! the camera is fantastic!! better than mot or nokia's...very loud ring and earpc clarity is more crisp than its predecessors!! music playing is not as loud as other MP3s but the bluetooth is fast download....clamshell design is such a good feel for a man's palm...dunno bout da ladies though.....Shortcut keys r not so friendly, have to press a few to get to camera and phonbk!! the pics loads slower than E715, probably bcos of higher resolution, processing memory is not so great...all in all for dis price, its still a good deal! got it in NYchinatown for 150

You can however use the soundbox as the e630 And D500 use but nokia sound is much better because of the INTERNAL seaker. 6230i

When will Samsing start copying Nokia's sound quality (which is the best sp far)?
Pros:
-Nice desighn
-Nice Color screen
-Good Battery Life
Cons:
-Horrible Sound Quality!
Nokia does copy Samsung's desighn,features and eventually comes up with better quality more durable phones!
So when will Samsung
fix its sound quality issue which is common for many Samsung models : E105, e315 and now e720.
COME ON SAMSUNG ,learn from NOKIA how to copy the good stuff and COPY from them their best Audio Quality (Nokia got the best audio quality in everage)

Here's a tip: for best MP3 sound quality, select classic mode in the equaliser. It increases volume and improves clarity and frequency range. Works a treat for drum & bass, haven't tried this with other genres yet.

Refer to my last post, I still finding a sutiable cable for E720, since it is much wider than the other Samsung.

sorry ean bout gettin the massage across to u this way but the e720 does have a recorder and u r able to record and talk. It just takes a few second to actually get into the recording thing to start it, so u might miss a little bit of ur convo... CYA LATER< XAV!

If you really wants to use it as a mp3 player, be sure that you can find a usb cable for transferring songs, since using BT to transfer song really SU*KS.
Anyways, many symbian phone can't play mp3 in stereo even with headset.

@ Dave...but I`m confused...are U buying a phone or a mp3 player?...if U prefere the E720 in stead of a symbian phone I don`t know what to say...cause the difference is so big that U can even immagine!...I think U never had a Symbian phone before. The difference in 65K and 262K of collors are minimal...I`ve got a lot of phones and can confirm this! If U are going to use the phone as an MP3 player and not for business or sth else just go for it...but the things U could do with E720 are limited...with Symbian OS are infinite!

I am dying to get this phone. All the features and everything are awesome. I've always wanted to get the E715, but now this is over the top! :) I can't wait til i get it.. Samsung You make the best cellphones.

I mentioned it, but it seems that I have to do that again: the simple way to make your samsung ring AND vibrate at the same time, is to download via wap some original Nokia ringtones. It worked on p510 and e 710. It should work on e 720 too. Good luck.

yeah but,first,i do not have any connection for PC,and second,for sms for example,i have to chose either between ring or vibrate,wich i find really crap for such a phone
