Damn!!! This phone has everything but a card slot... if it had a card slot it would be the perfect one,and the data rate is a bit slow.

Yo tell me does this phone record 1hour Video Along with 20 MP3 songs.

One More thing If say i record Half An hour of video can i record more than 20 MP3 songs.

i heard from my friend that when taking a photo there is a border to the display on the screen and not displayed on the full screen.

Has anyone else had probs with the C Cancel button sticking/clicking as it is so close to the other buttons or is it just me? and just unlucky I only have small fingers!

as viva said, look bak 3 pgs and its like that u wil find the answer. the tweaking required for loading games is posted (by me) somewhere down ther. hm...try www.d500world.tk not all the games work bt some of them r great :)

Hi Pepe, here is the trick to save incoming SMS number into phonebook. Simply like this: Open the incoming SMS – push Option- Select 6.Cut address- Select 3. Paste- Save. Easy, isn’t it? Hope you can make it.

Hi, at last I decided to buy E730 eventought I was a bit worry & doubtful about the features for the first time. I was a Nokia-fan since 6 years ago, many type I have used already and then I’ve got boring because all features became similar one another and also the design is not fit in every occasion anymore. Nokia become formal-official-business gadget, with a lot of business applications, which useless for me and less funky. My opinion regarding E730 is that the step for each function rather too long than Nokia, but once you get used to you will not complain anymore (obviously when you were a Nokia user before, then it would more easily to learning Samsung features). I found several new tricky things from this forum about this phone which is not wrote-down in the user manual book (such as enable speakerphone, how to make vibrate+melody active together, etc). I didn’t face difficulties to reload/download any files using PC Studio ver 2.0 (standard package). Everything works fine.
However, only two things for sure that I was missed by this phone, the vibrate & MP3 can’t ring together as ringtone & there isn’t game features along with my package. Can somebody help me how can I set the MP3 song + vibration along together as ringing phone & where can I have free download games?

Over all, I'm happy with this phone.

to florin: Are you kidding me? I think you need to read your manual because most all those things your saying the phone cant do, YOU CAN. Im not even going to enlighten you with the details because they are so obvious.

folders - i cant make my own folders can i. i cant organize stuff my way can i.

other files - this is weird since i cant upload anything into this folder anyway.

is anyone else having the same problem?

and the games? anyone know where i can download games and just transfer thru usb? the usb isnt bad. u can choose the speed in which to transfer files. the only problem im having is finding out where to transfer games. it doesnt say on the manual.

does someone know how to tweak this phone?

phone is alright ... looks good, but the battery doesnt last at all (1 day only on normal use). no external memory available :(
samsung is a big disappointment, gotta sell it for a nokia

But for an ex-nokia user it;s just a pice of s**t! - hm....just becz the fone lacks some of the options you r used to, i dn think u r justified to call e730 a piece of XXXX for any reason. it's not brick-like, its compact and has better screen and cam then nokia. so for an ex-samsung fan all the nokias r piece of xxxx?? nop ther r gd's and bad's. so please b careful what u say :)

i can't set for example a calendar event alarm to be activated let;s say every monday or every month. you only have option to set ring every year and that;s it. - hm...i have every day,every week, every month (no every year) and it has until-bla date...again, plz b careful wat u say. obviously u rnt used to samsungs. take ur time :)

Another thing that i tink it's just stupid is the second display wallpaper, the clock one. I mean, you already have a clock showing non-stop, do i really need a second one to show me the same thing?? - some ppl like me like the look of it. its cool to have a clock in colours. if u don like it, or if u don need it, just set a wallpaper to it. simply sorted :)

this fone may not have lil tiny convenient functions other fones of other manufacturers lack, but it not certainly a piece of xxxx or anything close to that. it is an amazing phone and samsung deserves a applause for cramming all that good stuff into such a tiny body. but obviously it wil have to work on the software to please everyone :)

you guys, before u post ur questions you should read at least 3 pages back. some of the questions u have might have already been answered. so please check first.

as for the others who wonder why their fones are "offline" even when u've installed the software and have plugged the phone, it's offline because your phone is probably flipped close. flip it open and then close and re-open file manager. click the phone icon and it should be accessible by then. once u click it u'll see that some sort of menu drops down.

this phone wont please everyone for sure. i have my complaints about it. but i think it's pretty neat compared to a lot of phones that have come out. i especially luv the mp3 player in it and the sound isnt bad either (i upload mp3s in 64kbps quality and they're not bad at all)... other comments might come later... hehehe

i have yet to check how to install new games but my problem is where to get them from. this phone does have dumb games..

and can anyone tell me how to get rid of the clock on the main menu? (i checked 3 ages back, no one has commented about it yet) there's an ever-present clock on the external lcd.. i want to see my entire wallpaper sometimes yknow. hehe

oh, and lastly, the questions some of you ask can actually be answered if you read ur manuals :-P hehehe

in addition to my question, why can't i receive music files with aac format? i thought its compatible with AAC? also, there are some images that i can't open that says "not support content" something like that. please help me! thanks a lot!

I was really disappointed by this phone. I wanted to sell it one day after i got it :(.
I am an ex-nokia fan, but nokia just started making really ugly phones, use cheap materials
and their phones that are up-to-date are brick-like. That;s why i bought the e730.
But for an ex-nokia user it;s just a pice of s**t! For ex: it can't vibrate and ring at the same time (i missed more calls than ever), you cannot copy phone nr's from the phone to a sim (at least i didnt find this option so please help if you did), i don;t know how i'll get some numbers out of it! hi i got this phone and i have one question
can this phone read WAV files. i know it can read mp3 and mpeg files but i don't know if it can read WAV files. i hvaen't bought myself a data cable and i wanna make sure that it can read WAV files before i buy the cable

Just got this little devil - lots of great features!!

I have two questions:
1 How to add the number from an incoming sms to my address book? (contacts)
2 Is there a quick way to turn sound on and vibrating on (I normally have a loud ringer, and it is a bit silly to fiddle around in the menu with beeps and little sounds when entering "silent" space). I know about the sidebutton, but it would already be too late then :)
