i just bought the phone a few days ago. i have to charge the battery after 1 & a half days and i don't even use the phone to listen to mp3 or for phonecalls. do you guys face the same situation?

i just switch from nokia to samsung. when i select mp3 as my ringtone, it doesn't come with vibration. there is only vibratone. So there are no way i can use mp3 as melody and vibration at the same time?

how do I get the talking clock function, the flash light went on when i tried the volume up method.

i just bought the phones 2 days ago too..i also realise the same thing..when i'm pressing next or foward, the mp3 screen doesn't show up on the cover so i wouldn't know what song it is playing.
do you guys have this problem. when selecting the keypad tones, you can hear various tones clearly but after selecting & saving it, the keypad tone is always a beep tone.

Hi I just bought this model two days back. With ref to Shaq's post on 8/4, I heard from Samsung that the MP3 player should show on the external screen. I understand if it dims off after 15 secs to save batt. but even after clicking the buttons it doesn't show up again, tho' I can select pause or forward. So I don't really know what song is playin. Is it just my phone or does everybody's work the same way...? Help!

Hi everyone. I bought the e770 before 1 month.I am transfering some java games to the phone but they can not be recognized. The files that I sent are .jar but they cannot be opened from the phone. Does anyone know why? All java games are .jar files?please help me.thanks

Love this phone!! Had a Nokia 6230i before the E770 and it doesn't even come close to to the Samsung. Only found out about the talking clock from the website...keep the clamshell shut and press the volume up key (unlock the front buttons if locked) and hey presto! the time is anounced...brilliant, no of no other phone that does this.
Definitely will always consider a Samsung phone above Nokia.

hey are there different models of this phone? mine doesnt seem to have a few features ive heard about - voice commands, and the talking clock etc

Hey, manual does NOT says that you can record phone conversation in mp3. Have you tried it?
Iknow some Nokia can and add beep during recording.

hmmms... i juz bought this fone on Thursday 11/5/06 and it seems like a gud fone soo far.. i like it.. but i want to buy a expandable memory and i dont know how much it can support.

to tor ,,,cant find any info from my usual resources but the z500 is approved for 1gb memory.also have you got the tv cables in your box if you have the phone
