why would anyone bother using a USB cable when you can get a bluetooth dongle for like $15AUD, wand they work heaps better.

hi there everyone.i have used tis phone about 1 month.As ur guys mention it doesn't come with the USB cable & the CD as well.Btw the Software can be download at the Samsung website the size is about '49.4MB'.By using tis software u can explore ur mmc easily.N i have tried using the USB cable which is the P850 model.But it's doens't work at all.When the time u plug in it just have the sound 'beep' then u can't connect ur phone.At last i have 1 question would like 2 get help from u'll.Do ur'll facing the Vibertonez problem?Very strange to my phone.Sometimes it just vibrate at the beginning then the rithem continue without the vibrate.Sometimes it's working very well.Is there any software problem or i need to send back to Samsung Service Center?

The samsung e770 seemed so cool. It has everything! but a week after i bought it the hinge broke on one side for no reason. They then charged me for a replacement. The replacement froze 2 days later and wouldnt work. Now on to the third version, I noticed some one else had the exact same experience. there is something very wrong with this phone. The e720 was soo much better!

adrianno...your right,, its typical isnt it why dont they sell cars with no engines in????they come out with phones sometimes no usb cable poor manual etc,,etc,,why is no one pulling up the phone firms with these defects such as appaling batterys & lack of support and detailed specs and faults..Lets see how you get hold of your cable to connect it to your tv cause ive searched for ages & guess who i shud get the help from according to results OR contact!!!!! YES the samsung website which is no help(THOSE WEBSITES FOR PHONES ARE DECREPID)at all..I am in uk & forever complaining about mobile units to trading standards & its well known about the amount of faulty units returned every week so good look in your search & then complain its your right too..

it says it has TV OUT, but how the hell link it to a TV? there is no cable for it !

we bought it as it was the upgrade from my previous and good e720 and quite frankly it has been terrible the hinge broke a week after i got it so they sent me a new one for 30£ !!! and i have had it for 2 days and it is broken again the keypad has no effect on the screen they are sending us our 3rd for free if it breaks i wont get it again

yes you can make and received call with out opening the phone using the handsfree kit or bluetooth dongle, manually or voice command.

After further research the expansion card does not decrease battery life much if at all. Bluetooth drains it though.
No u cannot call with the phone closed.
Yes it does have video camera, mp4 format.

Question:
Can calls be made and answered without opening the clamshell? For instance, using the voice commands and the speakerphone (there is a speakerphone, right?)

hi just a question - can you use regular headphones with this? or is it 2.5mm jack? (because you can get 2.5 - 3.5mm adapters)

WOW!!! this phone is great! the camera and video quality is amazing! The MP3 is really good except when the phone is closed is goes a bit scratchy.Overall this is an awesome phone and i definately recommend it to anyone!!!:):):)

can someone tell me please about this phone. when the phone is turned off and i charge it the clock on the outside display appears(with the battery and signal) but the clock doesn't work. is this happening to all devices?

I bought the phone today and it's unbelievable. Very good camera, mp3 player and many other applications. The only drawback is that it doesn't have radio.Can anyone tell me if I can change the appearance of the clock on the external screen? Can I put the clock appearance that is shown on e700's box?thankssss

There is no prob with SMS, i've test it. When you type a message and you close the phone or receive a call it will be automatically saved on drafts.

i wanna know if theres any prob with the sms-typing? will it auto delete all the words typed halfway when d phone accidentally got closed together or there are incoming calls?

No it is not get the 512mb card thats what i have when you get it dont forget to hold the volume key to sound the talking clock
