hi every body i read opinions of guys on e840 i would like 2 say u sum ting abt e840 am using this dashing denzil since 20days it was damn good the 2 mp cam turns off other cams it was like no other the battery back ups for 3days even i listen music for long time the only draw back is the slide is too tough to use 4 me i just hate it plzzzzzzzzz

if you guys wanna download tunes/wallaers for e840 then you can go to gallery.mobile9.com and download any of your choice..but sorry there are no themes available..if u can fin any ls tell me..

I just got this phone 3 days ago and i only have one problem. For some reason when it someone calls, it vibrates once and then cues into the ringtone about a second into it. It's not set on vibrate then ring. For some reason it just cues up the ringtones a split second in when someone calls. Anyone know how to fix this or what the problem is?

Hi I have just bought this phone today and it is awesome. The menu is cool the camera is awesome and the phone overall is great. The misic player is cool but sound quality is poor. The one thing I do not like is that the charging takes forever. Also the ringtones are strange and there are not many themes but the ones they do have are really cool. So far this is a great phone and well, yeah. Still charging for 2 hrs.

I recieved my phone in the mail yesterday and am so far very impressed. I was able to put several movies from my memory card onto this phone in .mp4 format and view them in full screen without any problems. There is a lag time if it's a big file to initially load them, but that is expected.
The phone is very slim and the touch pad is very responsive. I love the music player (you can have the picture of the CD while playing your favorite artist).
My only problem is the sliding mechanism is not as stiff as I would like. Seems to have just a little more nudge left to it when I push it up. But other than that, great phone so far!

Well,i just bought it 2 days back.I like the appearance of it.Its just mind blowing but I am not sure how much time it requires charging.Can anyone tell me abt it?If I want to hear the songs for atleast 3 hrs then I shall put it for charging how long?

I have both E900 and E840 with me. Below are answers to your questions.

I bought this E840...awesome piece...but face one problem..each time i wanna give a miss call or cut a ongoing call...i have to unlock the keypad and then press the cancel key. I m unable to find any setting of auto key lock...is there one??

3. does samsung E840 have touch pad? if so what's difference with E900

I made the post below.
Any how after a few days with this handset it has aLL the needs as a phone for me. Getting a high capacity battery later this week for £3.00
rated at 1000mAH.Tested the radio on 2 stations both being pirate stations and it was sweet and clear.

Having to upload your own ring tones/tones to the phone beats a lot of those crappy standard tones.2GB micro card worked on Kingston brand.Now to get a Bluetooth headset.
Yes the photos from this 2Meg phone are good enough much better then my D600..
Yes E840 much better looking phone the the U600 which I was going to get in the 1st place.
Any help On turn on delivery reports welcome..Only downside is this phone should have a standard 3.5mm headphone socket commmmmmmmme on Samsunggggggggggg!

@XcRaIgX@ that price is for an ex demo or customer return hand sets on tmobile in other words second hand. Brand new lowest price is 110 thats with a £10 top up if you pay by CC, cash is always £10 more..

Battery from Orange has this model No AB423643CE & Standard battery has this model No BST3148BE/STD. Did a search on web and these hand set use the same battery D830 E840 X820 U100 U600. I also found out that the X820 you can get a high power rating battery 1000mAh which would give a get deal of improvement over the standard battery with this E840 hand set..Shame I can't find one rated at 1500mAh ...I'm now off to buy my E840. ;)

Just got this phone on tuesday from carphone warehouse and i love it the design and slimness is amazing features are very good as well camera quality is good touch keys need getting used to i am having the problem with the left soft key as well always have to press harder
