Q1) Can one assign a mp3 file as a tone for SMS OR MMS Messages?
Q2) Has anyone been able to find a extended or higher rating battery for this hand-set if so where?
Q3) Anyone with the Orange branded please could you tell me the power rating of your battery?
By the way in UK Carphonewarehouse do all sim free hand-sets, at the moment this one goes for £100..
2GB MicroSD is supported kingston brand worked fine tested in Carphone warehouse!!

the only thing i got to complain is the lack of flash on this phone (can't take nite photos!) and the video capture doesn't seem very smooth. oh and how do i select my own tunes for incoming SMS? The preloaded ones suck and i can't seem to change it... help, anyone?

Thank you to the person who replied about my snooze/alarm question! :)
There is no flash on the camera unfortunately so it could not be used in the dark unfortunately.
That and the lack of autofocus and macro mode are the only drawbacks of this phone, other than that it is a fantastic phone!

is there a flash on the camera? ive got th u600 and had no end of problems- on my 3rd handset in 5wks so thinking of getting this fone....what dya think!!?? x x

Hello i bought this phone last two weeks back. Its working fine, but the problem is that we cannot change the theme of this phone. only we can use the default black or white
Also does this phone support 2GB MicroSD? I am planning to buy the memory.

i bought this phone yesterday. i love this phone its very practical and also has style at the same time... the touch sensitive keys make it much faster to use and all the things such as camera are of high quality. The mp3 quality rocks of can play albums, genres... just like an ipod.

To go snooze, I always press the volume button.
(Make sure you switch ON the snooze function at the alarm setting) The middle 'i' button will completely off the alarm.

Hi, can anyone confirm, when using the alarm with the snooze function, what button do you press for snooze? I tried it this morning and the side volume keys and the middle 'i' button both turn the alarm off but it doesn't say whether its gone to snooze again or completely off, I set it to the max of 10 snoozes and it only went off twice so I obviously switched it off the last time instead of onto snooze again, but its not clear which is snooze and which is off?!!!
Please can anyone help?

Hi, got this phone couple of days ago but can't get to it in time when receiving an incoming call, keeps going onto answerphone after 30 seconds. Does anyone know how to alter the setting to give me a chance to answer it.

can e840 sms tones be changed i want this mobile sim free in the uk but had samsungs before and not happy you could not change sms tones some reviews say you can and others dont so thought i would ask some owners ta

E840 uses new GUI same as U600. It has different music player, slimmest slide phone and slightly bigger screen than D900i.

Yes, the phone has only 2 skin to choose from. It's either Black or White. This phone using new UI (User Interface) which support 'Theme'. There's only 1 theme pre-installed in the phone. The theme display a landmark depends on which country you bought the phone. The background of the landmark will turn dark when night falls, which is quite interesting. One thing i'm not sure is whether the landmark will change if i use the phone in other country.
