i just got this phone from an online seller. It is a fantastic phone. The # key is a bit sticky though; it doesn't really click when pressed like the other keys. Has anyone else experienced the same problem... or did I just get a lemon?

U can change the shutter sound to none in the "camera Setting"... For the vibration u experience when u press "#" for silent mode, if onli u set ur silent mode to "vibration".. there's no way we can change tat... unless u choose "mute" for ur silent mode... but when u receive call n msg, u wun noe... Hope it helps...

To user4.. I couldnt help with the "1" thingy... coz my phone doesnt have... But for the changing ringtone or changing to vibrate then melody mode all these, mayb u might wan to try setting ur "my menu" in settings.. Change one of it to "ringtones".. so next time u could just press the up button in navigation page and choose "ringtones" from there... Hope it helps... =)

R - the sim card only has the capacity to save 20 text messages, after the sim is full, it should automatically start saving messages from on the phone memory.

I have always been an avid nokia fan but now am considering getting a samsung E900.. Was wondering if there would be like major change for nokia user like me?

Also, I heard that when you compose a new message and if you get an incoming call, the message would automatically be deleted and you have to retype your msg again.. True??

Thanks fish. It really helped a lot pal. One more question tough, if i chose to "reply" an sms instead of writing a fresh one, do i still have to choose from the list of reciepient or is that step skipped?

                                hi everybody,
                                just got my e900,
beside the battery bar, theres like a status icon kinda thing (either vibrate, silent, ring, etc) and then to the left of that icon, there is a "1."

i was wondering what th "1." actually is, and i cant find it ni the manual.

is there a quicker way to change profiles (ie. silent mode, vibrate mode, ring mode, vib and ring mode), i mean do u have to change it in the settings > sound settings > incoming call, everytime i want to change the modes?

is there a way to stop the vibrating everytime u switch from normal mode to silent mode by holding the # key?

                                thanks

Just got this phone two days ago... I fell deeply in lurve with it... lurve the style n the unique touch pad... I think it's alrite though lotx pple say it's too sensitive... When IT IS suppose to touch sensitive, yet pple complain too sensitive... If it doesnt respond to ur touch, pple wan to complain it's not sensitive... Think some pple are too hard to please.. Aniwae i think there are some flaws... eg. for msg tone, there's no vibration... But no big deal.. I accept all the goodness together with e tiny weeny flaws.. =)

to Curious... Actually there isnt any confirmation msg... 1st as usually with other phones, u have to choose options to send. Then they will bring u to the recipients page.. U can press options to choose recipient from phonebook or watever.. Then u chose the recipient, u juz press one more time to send the msg... To mi, it's okie... Mayb it might be a few more steps compare to other phone... But i'm fine with tat.. =) hope it helps...

I dropped the phone the day after I got it on the pavement and there's not a scratch on it so.. no, it isn't as fragile as people seem to believe.
