I've had so many problems with this phone and am sending it back and changing it for a se k800i. I've had 3 of these phones and all have turned out to be faulty. The first one kept switching on and off and the second and third the signal is terrible. Keeps losing it and takes a very long time to connect a call. I was trying to send a message for over an hour the other day with no luck. Browsing through photos as well lags quite a ot which is quite annoying. The touch sensitive keypad is alright and you do get used to it but it is TOO sensitive and i find while writing messages you often catch the exit button and lose the message. It also does this during games.

Beautiful touch sensative buttons (not touch screen). After 2 days of more-than-average use the battery had 1 of 3 bars left. I love all the features and the only thing I miss is the voice dialing through bluetooth (this phone lacks any voice dialing). it does an incredible job reproducing qvga video and the airplane mode is very nice.

Overall it is a great fone. Fab to look at and once you get used to the positions of the buttons, you're away!
Problem I find (and no-one else seems to mention it) is it takes about 2 minutes to connect a call. I have spoken to 02 and they say it's not the network it must be something to do with the fone. Has anybody else experienced this problem?
Also, nearly everytime I send a message it says 'sending message failed try sending again?'. I say yes and the message is sent successfully then the recepient writer back saying they got 2 messages from me. What's that all about?
One final complaint, I can't seem to send messages to numbers starting +44. I have to converet the +44 to a 0 everytime. pS I live in Liverpool, England!
Is this the fone or something else? It's driving me mad and I am thinking of dumping the fone for these reasons

helo helo. just bought this phone yesterday and i've a few things to ask:
1- mp3 ringtone - the mp3 ringing volume for the FIRST 2 SECONDS is very low [only when incoming calls] whilst the volume for settings preview is good
2- lagging - when i'm exploring the phone, ie. settings and especially browsing through my photos and videos, the phone seems quite lagging.
so, are these my phone's fault or is it the same with other E900s? anyone with e900 i hope u can help me with this. thanks

I have had my E900 for a week now and love it, but the disc that came with it won't work on Windows ME only XP/2000. I got a memory card but don't know what I need to do with that to get it to go into my computer? Any help??
The phone did take a few days to get used to but I think it is great and would highly recommend it.

I've had the E900 for nearly a week now; here are my impressions. Generally, they're very positive!
The sound during regular conversation is a bit sharp, but I got used to it. For me, the most important attribute of a cell phone's speaker is loudness, and this phone is definitely loud enough; the speaker phone also gets the job done.
The MP3 player lacks bass if you play music with the speakerphone, but the sound quality is great with the headset attached.
You can't use MP3 for text message tones or alarm tones, which is a bit of a drag, but for me that's a minor issue.
Getting the phone to stay on predictive text is no problem at all.
The phone's construction is pretty solid. When open, the top half rocks a tiny bit, but it hasn't gotten any worse in the week that I've owned it. However, I wouldn't call the phone rugged - still gotta be careful with it.
There's an issue with the battery life; it stays on 100% for a very long time, and then falls almost instantly to 0%. The 66% and 33% levels are not good indicators of the actual battery power level. However, I'm able to get 48 hours of regular usage until "low battery", which to me is satisfactory.

I find that it's the best as a phone. small, classy, light, having almost the feature you could expect from a phone. anything more than tat.. you should look for a SMART PHONE or palm phone such as O2 or HP. but massage, reminder tone could not be personalise... batery life could be better as i only be able to use for 2 day without charging.

I work in direct outbound for car phone warehouse, and let me tell you, the e900 is by far the best handset on the market the only one that comes near is the nokia n80 but i personally still prefer the e900. Does anyone know how to change the message tone to one of your own :?
