After getting this phone from o2 about a week ago - it has finally left my hands - good riddance to this inferior lump of junk. Samsung have sexed up this phone soooo much - and all it does is dissapoint. No wonder i had such a hard time getting o2 to accept it back!!! I take it i'm not the only one of their customers to be dissapointed!!!

Just got this phone and it's chronic. I was just wondering if anyone can help me with the ordering of the messages? I selected "sort by date" but they are being sorted with the oldest at the top and newest at the bottom! How do I change this? I've tried for aages, and the instruction manual doesnt have anything on the topic, any help would be appreciated.

I work at o2 as a customer advisor and the e900 is currently in stock as pay as you but tends to go quickly because of its now ever growing popularity. If your getting it on contract then you should be able to pick it up much quicker. I have just ordered mine and cant wait. I have read a lot of opinions on this site and have noticed a lot of people mentioning the fact that the touch screen is very sensitive. The thing is, the touch screen is a very recent addition to handset and there are only two on themarket at present, the samsung and the Lg. Obviously, because its a new facility its not going to perfect for everyone and is basically still a new concept. Of course, there will be new handsets coming out in the future with this facility and samsung regard all feedback as positive issues and will opt to make the touch screens better for the public domain should the necessity arise. This is a really stylish phone and its just a matter of getting used to the touch screen. All in all, this is a decent little phone depending on what you are expecting and personal preference, but wouod definately recommend it

I had the D500 and broke 2 days ago which forced me to buy a new mobile...and it had to be this one...Im glad that my D500 broke (although it is still class). I'm really happy with my new E900 but i have a small problem..It doesn't have a screensaver with the time like the D500...I don't know if anyone else has the same problem... I tried nearly everything to find a way to display the time when its innactive and nothing...anyone knows about it?

OK, I finally ordered this phone yesterday and it arrived this morning.
1st impression of this phone is very good. It's a very smart phone and feels great to hold. 1 bad point though is that fingerprints are visible, especially in the hot summer, but this is no big deal really - simply wipe them off in 2 seconds and you're happy.
The mp3 I have to agree isn't up to the standard of other phones but I don't use the mp3 player really, only for the ringtones so doesn't really bother me much.
Another thing about the ringtones is that it DOES NOT have to ring+vibrate and same time option - it DOES have vibrate THEN ring though, but again, I don't use this so I couldn't care less.
Also, to those people moaning that they had to change the text settings, each time they wanted to send a txt, to predictive text NO YOU DON'T. Simply go to options - input method and change it to what you want - IT REALLY IS THAT EASY!!
Next thing is the amount of people complaing that they keep pressing the 'cancel' button by accident etc - I've only had this phone since this morning and I've already got used to this feature - it is quite easy to use, although I do prefer buttons.
The camera is quite impressive, just you're normal 2 meg camera really and the Video quality is also of a high standard.
Overall, a good £199 well spent I would say and I would highly recommend this to people who are unsure about this phone.

i am thinking about an upgrade from a nokia without camera to a phone with a camera. i hear only good things about this phone but i have some questions about it; if anyone could help i would be greatful:
-is there any chance to answer a call with the phone in the pocket or when getting it out of the pocket (due to the touchpad). i know it sounds silly, but i am really concerned about the matter (eventually is there any option to edit the sensitivity of the touchpad)
-is there anything to protect the screen from scratches
-how about the battery, are people ok with the battery life
i would be greatful for any help on these matters. thank you alot
