All unlocked phones when released are overpriced...you have to wait for about a month to have a good price. I'm sure when it will be out, it would cost something around 600-700, but it should come down to 350.
I bought a D720 and everyday the price is dropping.I should have waited a bit.

any news on price? i guess d870's high tech features(3.2MP AF camera, business card scanner, etc.) won't be necessary for me, if this is more affordable then i'll go for this one..

classy looking phone, doesn't need symbian OS thats slow and susceptible to viruses.Just a matter of getin used to Samsung's menu! Used Nokia and Motorola b4,found Samsung's OS to be much more reliable. That's my 2cents on OS's.

I LOVE THIS PHONE!!!! Can anyone tell me if it has autofocus, and how much it will be, i am stuck over this and the d870.

This model looks even better, but no symbian.

what r u on Daniel 1st fone with a card slot take a look at the i300 you get 3gb and it will take a 1gb card aswell do your homework before engaging your mouth

will samsung ever consider implementing simbian OS on theyr phones... i always liked the design of their phones but I never liked theyr OS... they really suck ... nice phones but stupid menu and functionability... samsung + simban OS = dream phone...

great mobile phone!! fantastic tft display and very user friendly display. the design is breath-taking. plus it is the first samsung on the market with a memory card slot!!

wow! this is hot! obviously the most elegant way to cover a mobilephone today.. no, i dont wanna advertise this phone or its fabulous design. i just got crazy by discovering it for the first time and this feeling still keeps pumpin.. i nearly forgot about the good old 8890 and the lg pendant..

I agree with you that this and Lg "chocolate"..are differnt phones. I would rather like E900 design.It's sleek.
Though its not a right place to talk about LG...but for your information LG is launching a GSM verson in Europe on May 3rd and it's supposed to hit US market as well.
I hope Samsung will bring this one around the same time.
