I agree with you that this and Lg "chocolate"..are differnt phones. I would rather like E900 design.It's sleek.
Though its not a right place to talk about LG...but for your information LG is launching a GSM verson in Europe on May 3rd and it's supposed to hit US market as well.
I hope Samsung will bring this one around the same time.

in my opinion next phone i am getting. i have e730 and dont want to buy d600. i hope this phone has internal cam that pops up when you slide it(like d500 not like d600 cam which can be damadged because it is placed outside)and a long life battery(not like d800 which dropes dead in couple of hours)it is realy a masterpice!

Why are ppl being idiots comparing this phone to the LG chocolate phone? Yes they look similar but the specs are different AND the LG phone is CDMA korean market only. Totally different market from most of us GSM users (at least i assume the ppl on this forum are)

i absolutely love this phone it is so trendy but how does it work is it a slide phone or a turn phone. Can you get ringtones as message alerts on this phone.

It can record video..read it.
you are worried about quad band? are you in the US? By the time the 850mzh is fully functional in the US, there would be more sleek models to look for.
So enjoy it as long as it last.

it does have a flash, and from some reports, autofocus and cif video capture.what it does miss though is the radio.

personally i love samsung, however looking at the various new releases are becoming disappointing, their all starting to look the same and the specs are starting to sound the same-for the moment does anyone know if this phone is coming to south africa? samsung stop behaving like nokia you guys know you more original than that!

yes, it is not quad-band, it has no infra port, no radio, no 3G. that's exactly, what I don't need. I like this E900. It's D600 with much nicer design
