I guess you want a phone that supports 2GB external memory and has a touch pad... if thats it...you may want to check out samsung U700 phone... I do have a samsung E900 phone and I'm using 1GB memory as of now and its working fine... I haven't tried inserting a 2GB memory to it... I'm not so sure if this is true with samsung E900 but for most phones, the processing capability will be greatly affected by the size of the external memory... so far I haven't encountered any problem with my E900 phone..

you need to make sure that you're storing things to the memory card and not to phone memory,
the phone can only hold 11 songs on its internal memory but the memory card can hold 500 (give or take a few)

This phone is pretty nice...
However there are a few lacks wich shouldn't be there in such a phone.
1. You need to choose or a ringtone or vibration when you're called, but you can't choose both at the same time
2. You can choose only 6 different ringtones for your messages, no downloads
3. You can't customize tone for your alarm...
Those are things that a phone like that should have!!!

2. does samsung E900 support 2gb card
3. does samsung E840 have touch pad? if so what's difference with E900
4. what's the video length for both phones
5. do both phone support voice recording and what's the length of record time?

Chessie, it seems that either you have a problem with the phone, the card or what you put in it. It usually stores lots of tracks and photos. Get a Sandisk original card. If it still doesn't work, take it to where you got it, it must be a faulty mobile.

I have this phone and I have a 1gb memory card in it and it doesnt store many songs and I barely have any pictures and other stuff. The most amount of songs I managed to get on is 11. If you want to store songs on your phone I wouldn't reccommend this one.

Hi, I am trying to be able to check my e-mail from my E900. Everytime I try loggin I get an error from both hotmail and yahoo. Can someone tell me how I can be able to check my mails with this phone?

hey, i got the e900 bot 7 months ago nd until nw its been lik the perfect fone. nw everytime i go in2 my messages it starts vibratin nd it wnt stop until yoo turn the fone off. howerver i dont think this is a fault with the fone it is something to do with the network. Im on o2 and al of my m8s that r on the same network and ave the same fone ave ad xactli the same problem.
if yoo do wana gt this fone then i wuld recomend it just dnt go on o2. they r a reali gd network 2 b with if yoo r on pay as yoo go speciali if yoo gt the geni sim bt i ave already sent my fone off twice nd both times ive got it back nothin az been dne it stil vibrates!

Hi guys, please do assist me to know how I can be able to answer the calls when I am listening to the Music using the Stereo Headset? When a call comes, I press the Headset Button but it doesnt answer the call, so I am forced to press any button on my phone. This is because I have set it to Anykey Answer.
Your help guys will be most appreciated.

I bought this phone and it regularly turns itself off and the screen goes blank. The battery life is awful and the camera is good for a while but afterwards blurs and smudges. The memory isn't very good if you like to have music, videos and pictures on your phone - other than that the memory would be fine. I would not recommend this phone.

I bought this phone in March. I have it in pink and it scratches very easily. The phone memory was okay, it held 17 songs for me but i bought a micro sd memory card because i needed more space. I never had any problems with the phone until last month. The camera goes all blurry even when i've tried cleaning the lens. The battery life is terrible ! If you take around 5 photos it goes down one bar and if you listen to music the battery is dead within 30 minutes. The touchpad has been alright although if you accidentally lean on the phone touchscreen it can phone your first contact in your phonebook.
I would recommend this phone if you only buy it for the design and to text and phone people. I would not buy it if you like to listen to music and take lots of pictures. I would however buy a sony ericsson phone because i've had one of them before and it was very good.

To get Pictures 4 contacts you 1: hav 2 hav de contact saved to de fone den u go to ur images pick out wat picture u want and click options and set as ---- then caller image.

I had a nokia 6111 and 2 of dem ( dey were both de worst fones eva) and my bruder had de e900 so i gt it.
It is really gud.

But it keeps Going all blank and goes to start up screen then switchs off turns bak on agen and goes all white den turns off agen den turns on and it is fine.
If any1 has dis problem it's nt just ur fone because my bruder had de same 1 n he had he same problems... all in all
YHIS IS THE BEST FONE SAMSUNG HAVE MADE!!!!

hi got the e9oo the other day , i like it but find it really hard to work im not very technical, and cant get it off of voicemail and the instruction book doesnt say anything about it , also i cant get caller images on it help.

I just got this phone and it's great!! Small, cute and so attractive!
So far so good! There's nothing wrong with it .. just a great phone!!
And to the people who keep saying touch pad is REALLY bad .. it really isn't I just got my phone yesterday and I'm already used to the touch pad ... just don't kill the touch pad and you'll be fine lol.
But yeah overall great phone! recommend it to anyone who wants a professional phone with lots of great features!
I am LOVING the whole phone!! and my friends love it too because it's so cute and attractive and classy!! =]

to gaddy: accessing your pictures in the memory card is really slow especially if you have lots of pictures saved already. that's normal.
to eggie07: you can save messages that were sent. just make sure when sending your message, you press options then select save and send. common mistake is pressing the center button right away. if you do this, you are not saving your message at the sent box.
