a great phone with great features ; i have just replaced my SE w810 with this lovlely handset and i'm pleased as its unique design and feel makes it really acceptable . i agree with those SE fans ( as i am one of them :-) ) that nothing can overcome the sound quality of SE W series nor picture quality of their 2 MP cameras , but turn your head into world of design and inovation then you see samsung on TOP , sliding phones and now with a great touch sensitive navigation panel shows thier keen minds :-) i have manuplated all the item in this phone by now even installing Java applications so you can email me about your possible questions ; at last : go ahead with samsung

U can check for updates available in tools option of the Samsung PC Studio. Update the software and it will start working properly.
If u still find any difficulty you are more than welcome.

mark... all youv gota do is make sure ur flash settings are on perminant...nd if it still goes off press preview wen the pic has taken...the flash wil reappear hun x

about the mp3 player......go to mp3 settings....make sure the following are correct...
repeat all, shuffle on, music player override on,equaliser normal,3d sound off! it k

I had this phone as soon as it came out
I was well chuffed
But after 2 months its kinda gone crap
The touch Sensitive buttons is a dust attarcter
The music quality has gone down and my bluetooth has gone dodgy
I had this on contact and it runs out in september i cant wait to get a new phone

just got the samsung e900 really pleased with it but cant seem to set the flash when i go into camera menu and flash and set it for shooting only or permanent after ive taken a shot it goes back to off mode can anyone advise

so.. to do it,first,go to that file(the song),press options,then go to "add to playlist" then choose wherever u want it to be (playlists 1-4).. then after that, go to "applications" then "music player" then that's it. play the song.. it would be continious.. you can put it as shuffle mode, repeat once or repeat folder.. then you can go back to your main screen (wallpaper).. and you can even play games while the music is playing!! or you can even use the text messaging while the music is playing.. but you cannot open your files (music,images,videos etc.) and you cannot operate the camera.. hope this gives you enough info.. im really sorry if you cannot understand my explanation..

I had this phone direct on a contract through T mobile and i thought that it was a good phone it was untill it kept powering down in the middle of talking to and texting people anyway i complained to t mobile about this they did a handset only exchange which was good of them only to discover that the replacement handset did this also after complaining to t mobile yet again it emerged that there is a faulty series of samsung E900 and they told me that samsung had notified them about this and that it could be something to do with the back light settings so i changed these but to no avail i had to send the phone bak and have the contract cancelled under the distance selling regulations so am waitng for my new motorola krzr blue coming today on t mobile i wiuld strongly not reccomend samsung to any body

lianne: press "off" button twice to unlock when slider is closed, its the same buttons that you use to turn on and off your phone :)
