just wondering the D900 can not be dropped or bumped because the screen crack easily.. is it the same with the E900 or is it stronger?

the screen cant turn off during charging... its just normal cuz tats the design ...

When I first got the phone for christmas it was amazing- I loved everything about it and put the songs from my computer to my phone. The touch screen is very hard when you first get it but with time- you'll get used to it and won't be deleting whatever your doing and restarting from the main screen again (I've done it many times. But I'm fine with it now)
Setting everything up is pretty straight forward. I hardly looked at the phone manual!
And putting it on silent mode so quickly is such a relief when I'm in class (Please. I would be so bored if I couldn't send texts in science- this is done by holding down the # key).
I highly recommend this phone- Most of my friends love the slide up and the E900 has a great design to it

Don’t buy! Rubbish! The touch sensitive buttons are made for 6 inch Aliens with tiny little hands hands! Not for humans..

rubbish fone, dnt get it waste of money! the people ritin gud reviews about this fone jus want to reassure themselves that the fone is good! but 2 b honest it reli aint! the samsung e370 seems much better so i'l b gettin that one & sellin the e900 on ebay! the camera lukz like a VGA...nt clear at all! tc x

Nat, who asked about silent mode: well as far as i know all Samsungs go to silent mode after you hold # for a few seconds, this should be same too...

bought E900 today it looks great....... dont know what hapen next?????? facing some problems bcoz of the touch system.. like you cant use navigation key properly.......

it's up to you to turn the vibration on or off
and you can turn off the voice it makes when you press a button with no function (like end call when in idle mode) by simply unmarking the "indicative tones" in the extra tones setting in the sound options.

This phone is totally amazing. I got mine for christmas.The only mishaps is that it does not ring and vibrate at the same time and the battery life is short. The screen display is a bit smaller than the lg chocolate however it is a beauty compared to the same chocolate in terms of design and looks.I like its features very much and would recommend it to anyone.

I got the Samsung E900 today in pink and i think it's brilliant, although the touch sensitive pads took me a few hours to get used to. The picture quality is great, i recomend this phone to anyone.

I own this phone, but I feel touch screen for mobiles is a totally flop idea due to its limited space available for handling on the surface. This morning, I set an alarm to wake up at 6:00 and the alarm went accidently off at the first ring because I unknowingly touched the cancel area of the touch sensitive keypad while waking up to my senses.
