Hi. Does anyone know if any of these cards work, MicroSD 1GB and MicroSD 1GB Ultra II ?

1- how is the Cam ? is it Good ?
It's a good quality camera. If you use it at the highest resolution (2MP), the camera and file browser will slow down (if you take a picture it'll freeze for about 2 seconds), but the pictures are still good.
2- can I use a diffrent Rining tone for Diffrent Names in my Phone Book ?!!
Yes.
3- I read some one here said that he can't make the Mode Silent !!! is it Right ??
I've had no problems making the phone silent, and it really does make it completely silent (not even the annoying "BEEP" when you press a key that's not allowed)
4- how about the Rining tone Volume is alauid enugh ??
It's really quite loud, but I still can't hear it over the din of the bus; but then again, that's what vibrate is for.
Make sure to download the Russian firmware that enables vibe+ring.

my phone seems to have the E900DXFG2 firmware edition... and the camera flash torch feature does not seem to work by holding down the volume key as you guys have instructed.
Does anyone else have this edition firmware and have the ability to do this torch feature? thanks.

The "torch" function worked fine for me when I hold the volume down key while the phone is slided out. I am using firmware E900XEFG2. To check your firmware, press "*#1234#"

I like it so much and this is my first time I think of Samsung but I wanna be sure about a litl things..

I had Samsung E900 but it got stolen and thats a different story, i have used loads phone upto now and think i can say something and compare phones so here i go.
Good Things E900:
Slim, Sleek and cute phone, touch screen feels attractive in looks only, display outstanding, no slow menues, camera very high quality, an average battery, compatible to read PDF and Excell documents, comes with USB cable and software wich is really good oneand best of all? this phone has a tracking feature in which you can store two numbers with a password so if your phone is lost and someone tried to put his sim and breaks sim or network code , it will send you SMS to those two numbers you saved in it and you get phone number of your thief ( i lost mine i dint recieve any text so far)
Bad things about E900:
touch screen is really a pain, after a month i got used to it but its really not comfortable, music or ringtone sound is really not good, its just a screaming noise, phone is in a shiny black color and it gets fingerprints easily which you cant get rid off, screen gets dirty coz you have to put your thumb ob screen to slide it up,screen locks too quickly when you make a call and you dont know what to do. Apart from that its alot better than other samsung phones.
Oh yeah and if you wanna mute the phone but dont want to reject the call just press and hold down volume key ( in settings there is an option that what you want to do with volume keys 1- mute the ring 2- reject the call.
In dark just press and hold the volume key for couple of seconds and screen lights up.

oh and does anyone know if the 2gb card will work yet? still wondering.... i have one on order and should be getting it tomorrow.

before answering that question, let me say that i am enjoying this phone very much and do not regret getting it. Although the fact that other great phones are soon to be widely released like the t629 for tmobile makes mine seem less special.
Anyway... things i dont like so far...
1) No voice dialing
2) Bad battery indicator(3bars most time, 2bars short while... then battery dies)
3) I can't mute the ringing with one touch when receiving a call like i could with the v3. Just so i can simply let it ring then go to voicemail instead of rejecting.
4) no simultaneous vibe & ring
5) No scrolling through contacts with large view of photo caller id pics.
So far thats it.
I think these are all pretty much problems that samsung could address through changes in the firmware, but i doubt they'll do it.

I am thinking of buying a E908 (asia version)
But i heard it can only have 4 playlist in the MP3 player and 30 songs each in a playlist...is that true? Because if i buy a 1GB card and can't use it up then it's useless....thanks please repley

GSMarena there are almost 1000 comments on this phone. I think thats enough attention to warrant a review! Pleease review the E900!!! (Especially so we all have more great pics of it to look at :-)

I agree mate this is the best phone ive ever had. True i there are little niggles i have but all in all a very good phone. The one phone i would never buy is a Motorola V3i "get with times motorola"

Best mobile ever everything are working just fine...never gonna buy a nokia again.Samsung are the best and most reliable mobiles so go and get it you are gonna love it !

My USB connects to PC straight away and "USB connected" is displayed on my phone and the samsung software is loaded up on the PC.
