Curious, u're not too bright are u? the phone supports mp3 ringtones, why wouldn't it? try looking at the options when u go to ur playlist.

Ive Bought the new samsung e900 From Dubai (Asia) And am Having a Problem with it. Has Any of you Guys Come accross a Microphone Fault? Like when Taking a call Your voice Doesnt Reach the Other Person, an after a few seconds come Back to Normal again works Fine Afterwards. If You know Anything about That Fault If you Dont Mind Can someone please email me an Tell me what is the Best Course of Action to take To solve this Problem? It is well known that E900 cant support mp3 as sms tones...but is there any way to add any tones(non-mp3 format) as sms tone?

kg800 is nothing!!!compare to this phone!!for me it has far more better design the the chocol8..oh yeah e900 is a chocol8 killer!!!

i just received this phone about 1 week ago. how can you turn off the screen when you are charging the phone? i'm afraid that i will burn the phone's screen if i left it on over that charging period.. THANKS!!!

No the phone isn't touch screen the keys at the front are but not the lcd screen.....

This is a good handset with good features, however I find there is a slight issue with it and all other e900 users I know have it too. If you are right handed it's easy to brush your thumb or finger past the cancel key and, as it's heat sensitive, you dont even need to touch it and you end up back at the main screen. This is very annoying when writing a long text message, although you do learn to minimise it with practice! If you're left handed then you should have no problems!!!

This is my personal take on the E900. (My last phone was the Samsung D500, in case you need it to judge my opinions).
+ fantastic camera w/ self-timer and extras
+ nicely designed, easy to use user menus
+ quick lanch buttons for camera, mp3 player
+ touch buttons lock when on call
+ covers built in to cover plug-ins
+ full screen picture caller ID
- touch buttons take time to adjust to (sometimes too sensitive)
- slow processing time when accessing any image or file with an image
- one instance of the speaker being really soft (hasn't happened again)
- screen stays on during charging
- reception isn't as good as D500 was

@Andrew G: I am expecting the phone too, but I think that, according to the .pdf handbook, you can use video clips as caller ID. It says on page 37: "Select the caller ID line and set an image or a
video clip." Hope I helped

oh yeah....got this slick machine yesterday... enjoyed it the whole day yesterday and IT IS REALLY GOOD
see..i was struggling between KG800 and this
if you wanna go design-wise, i'd say shoot for the KG800 it looks MUCH better
but if you wanna go more for functions than design, go for this baby
as far as i know, i dun think the KG800 allows multifunctioning, or "player override" as they call it here. this feature means i can have mp player runnin in the background while i do other functions, besides calling of course :)
and voila! just got a message from my love
anyways..yes the sound quality isnt an ipod

camera i haven't tested it out yet, but from the phone i tested before getting this baby, it seemed much better than the KG800....
my friend has a KG800 and holy s### my girl and i were taking a picture with it and it laggggggggggggged so badly we were like hell?
the touchscreen is very minimally annoying because you might mishit the end button if you got big thumbs this is why the non-touch pad thing in the middle makes it much more stable than the KG800 which is totally touchpad
my ratings? design 7 features 10 perf 10
design...yeah it lacks compared with KG800
battery i say if it lasts 24hrs that's enough
have i missed out on anything?
