Samsung, pls listen!
What I'd like to propose is to implement
this Fast On-Screen Keyboard to your F3xx and F5xx
series.(I mean F300, F500, F520, whatever with that
squered-like touch-pad)

I hate this phone i got it for 21000 php and after a week its only 15000 in greenhills. My god! They instantly lowered the price after a week... maybe no ones buying it since its a crappy phone... I'll never buy another samsung... come on 3G and HSDPA are the latest technology and it doesnt have it. Too pricy for its features! If it wasnt for beyonce this phone will never sell.... She says "IRREPLACEABLE"?!? Whew! replace your phone right away... I dont want you guys to have the same nightmares that im experiencing with this phone. Its a major loser! Well if you like it then suffer the consequences!!!

Can anyone tell me if this phone is compatable with a 4GB microSD card, I know the spec says max 2GB, but maybe this was the max available when the phone was released?
And whats the latest firmware version?

This Phone SUCKS big time...I'm sorry, but Beyonce's pretty face does'nt do it for me!!
I have this phone for 2 months now...and will soon be selling it for something better...I have'nt experienced any problems with software as yet, and don't intend to...However, If this phone is so MODERN and stuff...why does it not have video calling and why does'nt it have a speaker???...THIS PHONE SUCKS...Samsung...You're going down...

Yes, it is a major problem but I am convinced all these issues are firmware related only. I think the agent said Samsung will change the motherboard, because, he was having nothing to say, since the firmware was already upgraded. I will keep you informed by posting here next week, once I will get back the phone.

the problems u mentioned - i have them too on the F300..song names will appear on phone side but not mp3 side this is because the playlist sometime didn't update..another samsung software bungle...
now changing the motherboard seems like a major problem to me...

Hello, I use the phone since 2 months now and I encountered the same software bugs, i.e randomly removing songs and sometimes the songs are not seen from the mp3 side but seen from the phone side. There is no firmware available on the net. I brought the phone to Samsung service center and they upgraded it the new firmware. And this introduced a new bug, the pics are not displayed anymore and impossible to use the camera for taking videos. I brought it again to Samsung and they said they are going to change the mother board which does not convince me it will solve the issue. It will take one week. To be continued....

i've the F300 for nearly two months now.
Likes
- great design - really slim and looks great
- great keypads
- great mp3 sound
Dislikes
- no speaker phone
- overly-sensitive touchpad on mp3 side
- the need to press a key to switch side.
- difficult to use the mp3 controls as u need to take out one end from the cover (which contains a battery)
- sound equaliser are all presets and sounds terrible when turned on.
Problems
- memory card sometimes cannot be recognized by the phone. happens quite often.
- software bugs - keeps removing songs from playlist for no reason?????
Does anyone know where to download the latest firmware with all those fixes? thanks.

the phone part of the F300 looks like an early 90's design. the music part looks modern but when you flip on the other side it looks crappy early 90's. Samsung is that intentional? LOL!
its like, "hey look at the modern design of the f300 music player," *flips it* "whoopeedo! welcome to 1991" LMAO!

ah man.. i am so confused and can not decide to go for F300 or K810i. i have a question for f300 that how's the speaker quality with the headphones and without headphones. also can we listen to songs as phone is charging in wallet thing? and also can we talk as welll? thanks and help will be apreciated.

the phone has no reselling value here in the philippines... who cares about the dual screen! The sweeping key is just an imitation no originality at all... phone is too heavy for its size when you have the spare battery with it. you cant use your headphone when charging only one port for charging and headphone. Stylish? i dont think so... the phone is full of crap... limited inbox. Whew! Just another trying hard imitation from another brand... Iphone is way better... Ewww!!! trying to imitate ipod but compared to ipod, ipod is still the best... Loser phone... Guys just ko for nokia or SE...

Cam facing keypead but cant do video calls, SMS tone only defaults, cant personalise profile & kaypad locking system works exactly like ipod.

SCREEN ISSUES
I'm traditionally a nokia person but after using the D820 I'm beginning to love the samsungs especially the black ones.
When the F300 came out I loved it till I saw the screen on the phone side. I'm an avid texter and felt that the 3 line display would just kill me when readin texts. Tha was until I got to handle one in person.
I borrowed a friend's F300 for the night to text it and discovered that when u get a text u can go to options and switch screens so that u read the text on the larger screen behind! That floored me! I was like wow! thats better!
I know its boring to text and send using one side then flip to read using the other side hut hey its wats available so why not use it for those who have it?
