i got it yesterday. i live in india and extremely satisfied with the fone.prev i had samsung e730, x700, and D900. currently using HTC S710 and now this is my first touch phone. ok...sound quality is good .( could have been better ). what really bothers me is about its operating system ( os ). which os they use ? can i get compatible softwares and games from net ? (like windows mobile).i searched every where in net...but i didnt find anything about it. cud anyone find out and guide all of us..

the downside there no wifi for it.. than it be complete.. but im wonderin how the sounds quality, is it loud

loved the phone but it kept on dropping calls. no software update available from samsung yet so i had to send it back but was gutted as everything else about it was great.

I purchased this phone nearly 14 days ago. And iam happy with my phone. Iam very techni savvy kinda person so after too many serch on net i found this peice suitable for me. I would like to share some words about Samsung F480.
Calling: Perfect, sound is great, ringtone is not too loudy,but a decent one.
MSG: No problem in typing for phone Pad. I like this because Windows Mobile sucks at that point.
Screen: is very bright and clear, no quaetion about that.
Features: Samsung was prepared to lauch this kind of phone keeping inmind that this is not a symbian phone , so they already offered too many features like miss call alert,Caller reject facilty, and many more.
I use to change theme of my N73 daily, only this is not possible in this phone.
Lack of GPS is not a problem for me coz i hardy use, But sometimes i want Wlan. Only thing which is absent in this phone which divert my attention towards other phones.

i am having difficulty setting up my email, would someone please explain how this works, do i need a bolt on? i am with orange, pay monthly and i have a bolt on for unlimited data? is that all i need?

It is aperfact device as I used more than 125 devices including window based.Only lacking in wifi and stylus or qwartery pad.

has anyone had problems with this phone on orange ? if i have a signal of 3 bars or less it will cut of the signal or not ring at all and go into ans phone car phone w/house have replaced it 3 times but just the same. found out through orange that there is a known issue with the tocco and is under investegation ref no kfd#244

its user friendly phone, but the sound quality is aweful.I can hardly hear its Alarm
Sometime touch does not work so easily as in IIPhone3G but on the whole Iwud prefer F480 than the bulky IPhone 3G

I has been for Samsung Mobile phones for a few years and I can say that in general this brand produces fantastic products overall with the last touchscreen F480 I got it few months ago and I am very satisfied on all features offered, very good fotocamera, the new system drag and drop, very reactive et we get instantly the applications, this model break easly all competitors like Lg Prada, Samsung Armani, and has more advantages than a Iphon if you don't find useful wifi, I advice you this mopdel if find a beautiful, design, listen music with a great sound, touchwizz new, take some pictures and play video phone, this phone is for you!

just today i got this phone and wow its same only on my D800 phone only the defirence is the touch screenand the face and the rest all same....batery im afraid same....
