great phone but any clue how to change the hold screen pictures? landscapes and flowers are getting tiring!

To all those wanting to know how to set mp3 as message tones
1) go to setting
2) phone profiles
3) Go to normal (or whatever profile you want)
4) Touch edit
Touch the mail icon at the top and scroll down and select message alert tone
5) select tone and thats it!!!!!

Still not as fast as using the click w... morebeware the games are a bit dodgy on this phone. i've downloaded 3d Jewel quest II, and because the game was originally designed for phones with buttons in f480 they've tried to go around this by introducing a string with touch controls at the bottom of the screen; the problem is that the touch controls cover and conceal part of the game screen. In Juwel Quest for example this means that you can't see the elapsing time you're ment to see. Haven't tried other games but looks to be an issue

Hi everyone. I really like this phone, got it yesterday but have a couple of questions if anyone can help? Are there any animations to add into texts apart from the rubbish punctuation ones? My old samsungs always had little men you could add. Also, is there any way of getting 'inbox' or 'create message' to be a shortcut instead of having to go in through the menu? I find that quite long winded, I think they should have put that as a widget. Thanks for the help!

Thanks, much better. Still not as fast as using the click wheel on my ipod but il get used to it, anyone know about games for it, all i can find are the two on the samsung website?.

Just wondering has anyone got a solution o my problem?. I have 999 songs on the phone but scrolling is really slow and even when you move your finger down the screen it takes ages to reach artists lower down, is there a search feature or a better way to scroll?.

can someone please help I'm on my fourth tocco phone in two weeks the calls keep dropping and cutting me off even though on my other phones I have are fine. Is any one else on orange in uk having same problem , I have checked with orange and my area should be full signal on 2g and 3g , today I got my fourth and its happened again , although it has not done it yet when I change network to 3g it seems only on 2g please can someone help surely it can't be fifth and surely orange and samsung have checked to see if it works ok or am I just unlucky please help.

Hi,
I have just bought this phone.
I transfered some photos and songs onto a microSD card. Strangely, the phone can display/play some files and couldn't on others.
All photos are jpg and all songs are mp3 file.
Is there a file size limit that the phone can display/play?

I've had this phone for 3 days, set the camera to take the optimum photo, i.e 5m pixel, iso auto, superfine etc, when the photo is taken for a split second looks fine then when it stores goes slightly blurry. i've bought a 4GB mass storage device so theres plenty of room to save the pic. Is this happening to anyone else? Have i got a setting wrong? Any advice would be greatful, thanks.
