Anonymous, 15 Jun 2009Hey! i would like to know the battery standard of this pho... moreheya, i have the samsung F480, my battery life lasts around one day/one day and a half but then i listen to the radio/music on it for about two hours a day, and am always on facebook or texting :P if you turn the 3G off that will save you battery life as well as turning the bluetooth off and lowering the display light. Despite having to charge up my phone nearly every night, I love love love it! have had it since october 2008 and it's still going strong :P had to do a software update last month (easily done if you have access to internet) because it would randomly power off and on again, but then most new phones nowadays have software glitches. One thing that annoys me though is the flash, drives me mad :P Personaly, in an ideal world they'd mix the HTC magic with the samsung F480 :P an android powered phone in association with google, 5MP with a DECENT flash, and the option for a touch screen alphanumeric keyboard :P

the specifications says (supports upto 8gb)...
would the phone hangup if full 8gb used.. for music n videos...
and how is the interface of the music player..
or is there a better fone in comparison...for the same price...

Has a good sound output through earphones n a good sensitivity screen, good battery life, classy built but poor speakers for music!!

Hey!
i would like to know the battery standard of this phone. as in will it last a day at the max? and does this have the wifi thing?
i heard LG phones arent good so since i m not going for LG now, i would like to know if this phone is acutally worth it.
oh and does anyone know its price in Dubai?

I searched a lot info about this phone, but I couldn't find if it has Handwriting recognition. Does anyone know?
Because I'm thinking to buy this one or the Samsung S5230 > http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_s5230-2739.php
This last one has Handwriting recognition and Accelerometer sensor, but loses in camera quality.

Major problem with this phone is downloading applications. Just copying them from PC won't do as in other mobiles with Java. Many people on this site post the same problem. I have already posted this opinion three times. But people keep asking the same thing. So here is it again.
There are at least 3 ways to download application as far as I know. Copying from PC just will not do.
1. Via internet on phone: Go to free jar site such as getjar.com from your mobile. Search for your mobile. F480 might not be listed there, search applications for Samsung D900. Download as many as you like to your mobile. Almost all of them will run on your mobile.
2. Another way using internet on your mobile is shown in the link below:

Bond_James, 12 Jun 2009Doesn't come with a stylus, its actually touch screen with ... moresir, just to clear things out,, the phones has a "capacitive" touch screen so it doesn't need stylus cause it would only work with fingers... if you guys want to use a stylus make sure you buy a phone with "resistive" touch screen... that's all,

within 2 weeks I got bored of it. planning to upgrade my phone to nokia e71 or n85.
U can't personalise it much, only wallpaper and ringtone. sms tone and all the menus are fixed. u can only choose which widgets u want it to display.

raylene, 11 Jun 2009does there come a stylus in the box?Doesn't come with a stylus, its actually touch screen with fingers, if you try and use a stylus it won't even work. The Ommnia is the phone that comes with a stylus in the box.

This phone is not as good as Nokia.
Cheap but not upto standards.
one of my friends faced battery issues. just few hours of battery life and then goes down.
Seems like this issue is common in this phone.
Dont know if we could actually play high graphic games like Ngage on this mobile.
