Looks a great phone but i would swap 3g for wifi, i have brought my partner an lg veiwty and the OS on both phones looks soooo alike. I have got the iphone which i find the touch screen perfect where as the veiwty is not as responsive do we think this is going to be the same case with the f700?

@ AI, the lack of push email is a huge disappointment. You may be able to get a client from DataViz (www.dataviz.com) but from what I've seen the Java version has pretty limited functionality. I’m not sure if there are any other Push Email clients for Java only phones. If you get the chance could you please tell me if you can create and edit Word and Excel files and is there a PDF reader on the phone? Thanks.
@ mHnX, I think it uses Samsung's own OS. Early reports said that it would be a Windows OS but I guess that became impossible once they moved to the larger screen with an unsupported resolution. The downside of that is that there are going to be few useful apps for it.

I too work for Vodafone (Business dept) and we've had massive amounts of calls in regarding this handset. It's just as popular amongst the staff as it is among our customers! The initial delivery into the UK has actually been delayed and we're now expecting them in on Monday 3rd December (not 30th November as expected). Definitley worth the wait though - it's more like an iPod Touch than a mobile, but with the addition of a funky QWERTY keyboard and push email support (not to mention free Bose earphones worth 70 quid). I'm on the waiting list myself...

Lack of an FM radio is a terrible error. Most if not all phones (such as Viewty, N95, K850i, K800i, U600!! etc etc) have them. I got to play with a mockup F700 the other day in Vodafone store and the slideout QWERTY keyboard is the best of any device I have ever tried, but the lack of radio means I won't be upgrading to it. Samsung? What were you thinking? Add a radio and I'll get one.
