I agree, N95 may have many features but it cannot compete with samsung in terms of multimedia specially mobile TVs and mobile videos. My 1.3 megapixel Samsung D820 has way above quality videos compared to Nokia N80 which has a 3.2 megapixel camera. Many users are now looking into video quality as a feature in mobile phone. Photo quality is just an ordinary feature now a days and it is now a thing of the past, well most probably.

SE obviously cannot compete both with SAMSUNG and NOKIA in terms of video. The highest SE achieved was QVGA and most of thier phones has QCIF videos which is pathetic.

Living in dark and dreary england, you really need a proper xenon flash to make full use of 5megapixel camera. shame.

@fanatics: Wll just have to wait for the final version and then will know who was right. If G600 could record VGA at full 30fps, this spec would be an headline everywere. I still think that 100% G600 will record in VGA at 15fps and CIF at 30fps. But hey..that's my opinion.

I'm surprised by the number of ignorant comments. A vast majority of people who present opinions here seem to have read very little about the device.

Personally, I have no use for 3G, but I can see why it would push others away from this product due to its lack thereof. Yes, it's another Samsung slider, but they've packed a hell of a sweet deal into a sleek looking package. A 5 mega-pixel camera with autofocus and an image stabilizer? That's a rare find with any phone, just as the N95 had been a prized gem when it was released. Nokia has their strengths, and they've certainly played to them, but where they've failed to impress (bulky hardware) Samsung seems sure to succeed.

I'll most certainly be buying it.

Excuse me but why is everyone saying this phone doesn't have 3G?? If that's a picture of it then it will have 3G as there's a videocall camera on the top left hand side! And as with all Samsung camera phones released since the E720 over 2 years ago this one will record CIF in 15fps or more, QVGA at 30fps and maybe it will be the first Samsung to record VGA!! Most Sony Ericsson phones record ONLY in QCIF which is really pathetic (176 x 144)! And why do Nokia insist on making most of their 3G phones with NO front videocall camera??!! That is just plain stupid. Samsung are my favourite phone manufacturer mainly because of design and the fact that they allow high resolution video recordings. Yes, the latest Nokias allow VGA recording but their designs aren't as good. Take a look at the 6233 for instance; NO videocall camera even though it's a 3G phone and terrible quality cos the back is way too creaky. Although it does have VGA recording.

GUYS take note: Users are content with what mobile handsets have to offer in terms of photo quality and are looking for improvements in the video recording department. The Samsung G600 promises to deliver CIF (352x288) resolution recording at full 30 fps, while at the same time it will be able to record even in VGA (640x480 pixels) resolution, but most probably not at 30 fps.

@dave_vl, who posted that G600 records VGA in 15fps, take a look to the article: "most probably not at 30 fps", so meaning it could be 30 fps and not a definite 15 fps. suit yourself.
