I am ajith from kerala...
I bought this phone for 10,700Rs on june 4th.
I have read all the pages of this user review.
It helped me a lot to optimize my phone to improve the battery life and
to know about some interesting applications which are really useful for me..
I am thanking everyone to get these info....I would like to share these informations with you....
So instead of going through the whole pages you would get the suggestions given by different users..
Everyone is complaining about the battery..yes...battery backup is not satisfactory.
But you can tune your device to give better results...
1.Reduce the brightness
2.Disable background data and auto-sync in accounts and sync settings...
When needed you can enable that.
3.Uncheck the data enabled option when you are not using the internet.
4.Background processes should be terminated at regularly....
These unnecessory process will increase the battery consumption.
Use applications like Advanced task killer,Battery doctor etc &
this will make considerable change in the battery backup.
Another problem mentioned is that some time the installed application is not found in the program list.
Just clear the ram(level 1&2). Now it will be there.
In built browser is very bad.Opera mini will give amazing browsing experience.
According to me it is the best one available at free of cost..
Skyfire browser is suggested to access the flash content.
Another problem mentioned is that when the entered msg exceeds 480 chara.
itis automatically converted in to multimedia msg.
I don't know how to change the phone setting to overcome this problem..
But i suggest you to use freesms sender application which is available in the android market
in which the msg path ie.normal/via gprs can be selected.
You can send msg upto 980 char. by doing so.
Another problem is that Swype is not working.
For swyping download swype from official site,as it is not available in the market.
You should register first.They will mail the link and you can easily download the installation file.
wifi connection was suggested to use but with a gprs connection i was able to download and install it...
It is working perfectly.

Its a good Android phone. There is no problem with internet or wi-fi. the people having complain about its low battery back-up, should stop a number of operations running in the background and they can get a good backup. Yes I am disappointed with the Volume of this phone. It is not up to the mark, even on earphone.

I am unable to do so.First n foremost get an internet pack reacharge from your carrier...Then go to settings--->Wireless n network settings--->Mobile networks...Now make sure you check "Data Enabled"...Now you shud be able to use internet

hiii....i am using this phone from last 4 months. . its superb... alll u have to do is get correct soft from andorid market so u can use everything.....bettery is also good.. it doesnt have video calling but using tango soft u can use video calling.... best phone

Hey i was thinking about getting this phone but i wasnt sure. I have a LG right now and its awesome ! But how well is the battery in this phone? Is the camera good? Texting good ?

I am using it from last 6 months and I don't see any issues with this phone but ya some times it hangs...

aniket, 24 Jun 2011can somebody tell me whether i can surf the net using wifi ... moreit detects wifi only for wifi router not for laptop created hotspots like ad-hoc etc, try using connictify application in ur lapppy wid that it will detect da wifi server in the fone bt speed will b quite less compare to ad hoc

whenever i try to set a 240x400 image as a wallpaper in this phone,it dosen't show the full image,it tells me to save a certain part of it.
Any idea how should i put the full size of the image...im really confused?
