No doubt i found every thing in this phone but i felt unhappy that it dosenot have any external key to operate camera.
2.its dont have the security features as compre to its price

Hi All,
Have query on Wi-fi. I have setup all parameters required by Wi-fi in Setting Menu. It also show me that I am connected to particular Wi-Fi Network. But when am trying to access any web site it says page not found.
Can you please tell me what additional activity i need to do on this Phone.

galaxy 551 is an awesome mobile, i love it, the internet and the phone speed is very good.....with 2laks andriod Apps.....and lite weight, good look and wat not......less price and good gain....pls use it and see.....bye....

AnonD-8167, 27 May 2011which one i should buy..551/lg optimus one p500LG optimus one any day....Its simply far ahead of the rest in lower mid range....Just go for it...I have a 551 but not a day goes by without regretting why i didnt buy OP1...I changed my decision in the last minute as i thot Samsung is a better brand n better looking

I am using this phone since last 3 months. I will tell you guys the exact nature of this Phone.
1) This has Android 2.2 and hence it installs all apk files. Nothing like andoid.
It has good sound quality in ear phone.
2) Camera is decent. Pictures taken are clear.
3) The default Browser cannot play flash files. But install Skyfire. Flash works brillantly on it. If you use 3G, then it plays flash seamlessly well.
4) Battery is a problem. You may have to charge twice a Day. But you have a solution, if you dont use internet and disable sync and data, it lasts whole day.
5) It has unique feature of speech to text.
6) Opera mini works fastest on this phone.
7)Threaded view is good in messgaing and physical keyboard is bit hard but just brilliant.
Overall good buy at this price.

download battery doctor from the android market it works perfectly made my 551 stay for almost 3 days with constant web browsing music and whole day texting and calling

Sky fire is a browser which streams flash content on your phone.Basically it renders and streams to your phone.
