I am a user of the Galaxy 551.
If you want a QWERTY keypad badly then go for this phone.Else go for cheaper Galaxy 3(No Gingerbread) or LG Optimus One.A word of advice.Hold your breath till June when the Gingerbread Phones come .

viks, 23 Apr 2011i have to take this phone..when i charge this mobile it can... moreIt reaches 115 F When charging,120 F when charging plus Call.The battery is pretty hot.No solution.
If you charge your phone with USB port and you mount SD card in computer then you cant access app on your SD cared cos the computer is accessing the SD card. Unmount SD card and charge to access the SD card applications.
(I believe There is a warning that Applications dont work when you monut theSD card)

i have to take this phone..when i charge this mobile it cant reduce temp. it's increase by propotionally.so, anyone tell me why this is getting high temprature.and it cant access the sd card applications when this is switch on.

AnonD-5952, 12 Apr 2011While opening screen lock , this always vibrates..which is ... morego to settings > location and security and remove the check form tactile feedback. this would remove the vibration when you unlock the phone.

and good processing speed , if ur using internet through Wifi..

Hi all,
I had this phone from Egypt for 2 weeks now. Simply Great Phone. I have few problems with short battery life, but maybe because in the begining i'm using it so much (GPS, Syncronization...). I guess I can face the problem of low availability of internal memory (I installed 12 applications from Android Market, & I have consumed 129MB out of 173MB of internal memory). does any one have a solution for this??
Other than that, the phone is perfect. it only lacks a stronger camera (although the installed 3.1MP camera is excellent), a flash, a secondary camera & bigger screen.
Good work SAMSUNG, I'm a fan now!!

You get about 140 MB of internal memory,that depends upon your use.And you CANT install apps on SD,you can just transfer part of app to SD.(60-75p.c).Many apps arent meant to install on SD.It soley depends upon your app management skills.

Installing apps sd cards make them slower.(FAT is a dated FS)And after a while 170 MB will just not be enough.
Apps are gonna be larger and larger.It's just a matter of time.
