How to improve battery life?
I have done all the basic things to save battery but anything else that can be done?

ARSHAD, 11 Jan 2011do not buy galaxy 551 it's not good What exactly have you based this opinion on? I'd love to know..I have been using this for a couple of weeks now and except the laggy browser (you can use Opera Mini instead), the rest is a hoot!!

Zag, 10 Jan 2011not really..they don't disappear JLT...they disappear only ... moreok..got a workaround..u can use the app and then if you want to move it to your SD card, you can..if d icon disappears from applications after moving it to the SD card, then from task manager clear level 1 and level 2 RAM..the icons will reappear! :)

Hi, i had just bought the froyo handset. Just realised that office applications like excel and word are not readily available in the handset. Can i download the applications and will that work on this handset. And any suggestions from where i can get a free (non trial) version of office for a android platform.

acc to pdadb.net this one has got a humming bird processor!!!
but acc. to gsmarena, and other sources that Ive checked it contains a 667mhz processor.!?
if the former is true ill blindly buy it.

I have been using the phone for 2 weeks now. I absolutely love the experience. The hard keys are really well spaced and a boon for big fingers like mine. The apps get stored on the SD card which is great from the space constraint aspect. Battery life for about 30 hours with moderate usage. I bought 2 of these. Black one for myself and the white one (with pink keyboard) for my wife. Great buy indeed.
