*Bought an A03s last year.
*Turns Double tap to wake feature on.
*Pulls phone out of pocket because butt dialed someone and speaker was on.
While doing tests on phone I found out that the screen detects for the double tap, NOT the proximity sensor. So when your lap double taps the phone, the screen turns on.
ALSO
The screen only 100% responds to thumbs. If you use index finger, you'll experience ghost touches. The smaller the finger, the less response.
And no. The A03s doesn't have the option to INCREASE TOUCH SENSITIVITY.
No other phone that I own does this.
And no. This isn't just MY unit. My mom also has an A03s. I also went to a Samsung physical store to test their display unit. Same problem.
Only with Samsung. Now add the knowledge, thanks to MrWhoseTheBoss and other YouTubers, that I can't store any Samsung phone in my house in fear of the battery exploding.

In a real world works just fine.Signal and voice calls are amazing.Battery life 2 days without drama.On the other hand camera is bad and playing music with 3.5 inch jack is not an option.Best value for money if you don't use camera.

my galaxy a03s will not stay pared to my 2015 ford escort. when i shut down the car it looses he pare and i have to restart by deleting phone and re-install it. any suggestions.

It's actually a great phone for its price (200 CAD) and works well so long as you don't open a lot of apps in the background (cough cough most people here) and the battery lasts a long time (one full day). Pretty slow to charge because it doesn't support fast-charging but I mean most people charge their phones overnight anyways. I've had no issues apart from the storage seeming like it's not enough (12.5gb after almost everything I need is installed).

This is the worst smart phone I have owned. It's less than 4 months old, up to date, and slow as shit. It's awful. Music glitches when the loc screen in enabled, it's slow, it's clumsy, doesn't have a radio built in, it's slow, it glitches, it does what it wants sometimes, it's really slow.

Catch your golden solution here, as far as you maintain your phone like this (not talking about only Samsung) your phone will work absolutely fine...

Bought 1 a few weeks ago & now I'm stuck with this lousy piece of garbage until it's paid off. On my 2nd one after having an accident with the 1st one, & as the 1st one was so bad in doing anything online, I'm only using this one to call/text. All the other features will be unused. I'll stick to my desktop for doing anything online. This phone is nothing but junk, and my previous Samsung was far better for using online, & happily served me well for 5 years.
Not recommended.
