Samsung A13 - great phone, just two problems: (1) The speaker does not give great sound and voice is sometimes unclear, however a plug in earpiece provides for a better sound experience. (2) The camera does not work without allowing access to Nearby Devices, which not everybody wants to do.

I bought a Samsung A 13 recently. I'm happy enough with its features and performance, except I was passed off when I discovered the phone did not support NFC which is tap and go Google Wallet Payments. If I'd known or was told about at the point of purchase I would have had second thoughts about buying. It's a pain, why can't that be added?

Some of you people buy cheap phones like this that are meant for calls, texts, and social media scrolling, and expect high performance out of them, if you play intense games or use very demanding apps all the time, buy a more powerful phone, easy fix

Virggy, 08 Mar 2023From Huawei P30 to Samsung A13 feels like a huge sabotage t... moreI "upgraded" from the 2016 LG V20 earlier this year, and my god the camera is so much worse than the V20's. And even excluding that, the A13 is barely better than the V20 for most things. It still can't screen record, it lags often (not as much, but still), its Bluetooth connection is trash. The only thing I do like about it is that it runs faster most of the time, and its UI is better.

Terrible phone from my experience. I got it around August 2022 and I thought right out the box it was a bit laggy which was bad since my previous phone was the A7 2018 and that wasn't as leggy when I first got it.
It has not been a year and I've had multiple sudden bad lag, sometimes the phone just black screens and becomes unresponsive or restarts. I've been having a "system ui" error quite often as well.
Earlier today I turned on airplane mode for a bit and went out. I came home and turned it off but the phone wouldn't connect to the home WiFi. It was so annoying and frustrating. I did the typical steps to resolve it but it only connected to the WiFi after almost an hour.
I can't wait to get a new phone. Maybe I'll try a different brand. This one seems really awful to me and I can't wait to get rid of it and avoid this brand.

Pease update the kernel to 64-Bits. It is capable. Even worse phones are 64-Bit.

The machine works durable, less error. High configuration with reasonable price. I find the genuine Samsung case to be a worthwhile accessory. You should choose a Samsung case if possible.
