Android keeps on getting more and more intensive with time, the Android 13 for example is estimated to NEED 2GB of RAM only to boot up, with no other background/foreground processes running, around 8 to run adequately.
Just 1 year earlier, the latest Android 12 needed just 1.5GB to boot, and 6 to run adequately (In google's own words).
Samsung promised 2 years of Android, so by the time they roll 15 out, this'll barely run anything, and it's not Samsung's fault to an extent, it's just that the industry moves fast, but the fact that Samsung barely put out anything competitive in their lower end offerings makes the industry, in contrast, move even faster.

OneUI with long term software support is anyday better even all custom rom combined. I'm a pro Sammy low end and mid range hater but you're deluded.

Redmi Note 12 destroys this Samsung while being slightly more expensive.
128/4 Note 12 =>199 Euros.
64/4 A14 => 189 Euros.
Hate MIUI? Boot a custom ROM, it has a Snapdragon, not an Exynass.
