The Samsung Galaxy A20 is a pretty good phone for its price point, but I wouldn't necessary bet on its longevity.
At first usability is great. The screen is beautiful, speakers sound good and the battery lasts a good while. However, about six months into having the phone I started noticing problems. The cell tower reception is usually pretty bad (even with switching out SIM cards and using different networks). I'll typically get two bars and H+, while others have full bars and 4G/LTE. After that, I started experiencing more problems with the GPS. The GPS appears to be unreliable, so I wouldn't necessarily go for this phone if you get lost easily. Finally, I'm currently having trouble charging the phone, which might spell an end for my nine months with the A20.
My experience with the phone has been mixed, and I think you'll likely have a better experience with a phone from xiaomi or nokia at the price point.

Pros-
good screen - size and resolution, not too wide in hand but height is nice for turning sideways for streaming
good processor, ok on RAM(4gb would be much better)
UI easy to use and OS is nice - good ability to customize
memory card slot for expansion is nice
fingerprint sensor works very well
camera is pretty good(for this level phone)
Cons-
Not remotely water resistant- I wore it once jogging(brand new) and it died. Samsung would not stand behind it even though in warranty. The headphone jack is by the charging port on the bottom so even though I had a case that covered screen seals and a rubber piece that went inside charging port to protect it, the phone died. I was using wired headphones. It was very minimal exposure, probably could have gotten same in my pocket in a medium rain. They wanted 185 USD to repair it- for a 240 phone. after 3 weeks of use. so either look elsewhere or buy the carrier warranty as I predict you will need it. FWIW I've had phones for 25+ years and 0 have died on me, ever. Usually last 3-5 years and only replace when OS isn't supported and simply can't operate.
Also the sound is not great- it's just 1 speaker, not stereo, so ok for talking but for music it would be much better with 2.
Good value phone but had to mark it as 1 there and 1 overall - a phone I paid full retail price for that lasts 3 weeks - literally worst electronics experience I've had in 30+ years as a consumer. I take care of my stuff.

For the price, I find it surprisingly usable. It's not perfect but I picked this up as a temporary emergency replacement for my broken LG flagship, and I can't justify the price to replace it.
It works for everything I need. If it had a slightly better speaker it would be a lot better.

Damn man....Many people here are having issues with their A20.But I am using this phone for almost a year now and I am very very satisfied with this phone.

After only a week this phone won’t let me receive calls. The phone rings and the buttons come up to either answer the call or hang up but neither button responds when I press it. Help Please.
