YUKI93, 17 May 2020A budget Android smartphone with 6GB RAM? I'd say there is ... moreAndroid is open source, so the optimization is going to vary from skin to skin. So yeah, considering the vast amount of configurations it can be very resource intensive bogging up RAM. I mean Android is not Chrome OS, it's not a lightweight OS in the same regards. And if anything, more RAM more better I say. No matter how optimized the OS is, it can and will benefit from more RAM.

AhmedSLL, 17 May 2020Exactly, their getting rid of that LCD stock they still hav... moreFrom The Verge; "Last October Samsung Display announced a five-year 13.1 trillion won (around $10.7 billion) investment in quantum dot technology for its upcoming TVs, as it shifts production away from LCDs. However, Samsung’s existing quantum dot or QLED TVs still use LCD panels behind their quantum dot layer. Samsung is also working on developing self-emissive quantum-dot diodes, which would remove the need for a separate layer." So they're shifting manufacturing, no longer doing LCD's by themselves more or less they are combining them with other display technologies they are developing.

I was just agreeing with you and I said that because everyone seems to think that Samsung has used LCD from other frequently in the past(I haven't seen any, even not 1 example of using 3rd party display).
So, I had to include the info. But you took it wrong.
And if you can't remember the Quotation Mark(and space before Question mark) topic then It's better to forget. It's an old thing.

Also I don't get it that why these people think Samsung should outsource LCD for their phone ?

That's good. Proof of your vulgarity which I don't care.
Also Aren't you the American(probably Indians) stupid who thinks 'for couple of words' using double quotation is right and using single quotation is wrong. So much narrow(not global) mind and another proof of that again.

                  Well,
actually I was kinda agreeing with your opinion.
Now as you said Samsung could have outsourced LCD(not your word, the other guy said). But my question is same as you
Why the h*ll would they do that ?

Yuki93 I have to aggree. They need to curb their resource intensity. The OS needs an efficient management of background processes. They are here to stay in large quantities, but why so poorly optimized?

A budget Android smartphone with 6GB RAM? I'd say there is something wrong with Android OS as a whole.

Rk100, 17 May 2020Fair point so read, my other point, that they are probably ... moreExactly, their getting rid of that LCD stock they still have, but I think the shut down will only affect the mobile segment, I don't think they'll stop making LCD televisions, Samsung are strong competitors in the low to mid-range tv market, they can't just stop know, and FYI, QLED are LCD displays.

Both J2 core have Samsung made display, possibly A21s too.

Agcblls, 17 May 2020How good is that Exynos chip? Can it handle games like Ark?The CPU is kinda weak but should be very energy efficient.
No info about GPU core count.
So can't exactly tell you how powerful it'll be.
But as it is using Mali G76 it should be capable of running high demanding games at 720p with low to medium possibly high setting even if it uses only 2 core G76 GPU.

Bad move. They could have made this SoC crazily energy efficient if they had chosen to go with 4 core at 1.8GHz or lower , instead of going both cluster running at 2GHz.
