Decent enough phone. I've got the A300FU, which has 1.5GB RAM (opposed to all other models' 1GB) and 16GB of internal storage, which I boosted with a 128GB microSD card.
Mine came on Android 5.1.1, Samsung updated it to 6.0.1. Fun fact, Samsung overclocked the processor in these from 1.2 to 1.4GHz just so it could run with all the bloat they crammed into their reskin of Android, "TouchWiz".
This phone was limited to Android 6..1 Marshmallow, but via LineageOS and TWRP, this phone can do much more; I had it running 7.1.2 Nougat, 8.1 Oreo, and my specific example runs 9.0 Pie, and it handles it without much struggle.
If you have one of these devices, do consider making your life easier by installing LineageOS 14, 15, or 16 (Android 7, 8, 9, respectively). It isn't even hard.

Me too :)
I'm an extreme user, so the phone's life is VERY hard! I'm charging it 3 times a day.
But it is "unbreakable" phone. I called it "Samsung's Nokia"
Good phone for "beginners" :)

I am using this phone as my work phone for 5 years. Everything works fine, but I am using it only for callings and emails. Recently I installed MS launcher and it is OK.
I chose that phone, because of its form factor and I don't regret.

This phone has a metal unibody, contrary to the specifications posted here. Why does this website say that it is a metal back, contrary to every other tech site. I should know because I own this phone, use it without a screen protector and it has nary a scratch on its back. Can you tell me that this is how plastic behaves?

Worst decision I have ever made with a smartphone. Way too expensive for a pathetic SD410 processor and only 1GB of RAM (the variant I had). The screen and camera are pathetic, the phone had Android 5 out of the box and received no updates after it what so ever. And a 1900 mAH battery is a joke. It was true in 2015, its still true in 2019, do not buy a Samsung mid-ranger. Huawei/Honor/Xiaomi are the ones you need to buy for budget phones, opt for the flagship S series if you really really want to get a Samsung.

Terrible Phone for Battery life. You have to charge it every day and Samsung stupid decided hey we will stop you replacing the battery. Also give that Apple are releasing an another update to IOS 12. Samsung lazy can't bothered even to update this phone to Android 7.
I also forgot to add that charging takes forever. It so dam slow.

Anyone can tell me how to put sim 2 on Samsung A3? I checked it on setting and it tells that this phone has two sim slots. But I can't find the second sim slot. Thank you for those who want to help ☺
