Hi guys! i want to buy a new phone. I used to have Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo and i was really pleased but unfortunately i got robbed.So now i think that i am between 2 options Samsung A3 and OnePlus One ?I need a phone for professional use but i dont want to spend alot of money. What do you recommend.. Do you think that 1GB RAM (Samsung Galaxy A3) isn t enough(apps,several accounts of email etc)?

Beautiful phone, good light weight design. Quick/sharp responsive OS with good lighting on the screen. Camera is surprisingly good for a phone for both main and secondary cameras. Battery life, so far with sporadic data, wi-fi, call, text and app use has been 3 days before needing to be charged. For hardcore app users it would definitely last well into a second day of use before needing to charge. All in all 10/10, mainly because it has all that functionality for a fraction of the price of the leading phones on the market.

It's advertised as a mid-range phone, so don't expect top range. That said: it is an exceptional mid-range phone. Very happy with it. When you run resource intensive stuff, the phone slows down a bit. But again: it's a mid-range phone.
I haven't had any issues with dropped calls.

It looks like Samsung is having a hard time with their first metal-clad mid-range smartphones. Last week, we reported that Samsung delayed the launch of the Galaxy A3 and the Galaxy A5 due to low production yields while manufacturing metal casings for them. Now, Hi-Tech.Mail.ru has learnt from their review, that these metal devices are facing cellular signal strength issues. When compared to the Galaxy S5, which was receiving a fairly strong cellular signal at -82 dBm, the Galaxy A3 and the Galaxy A5 received relatively weaker signal strength at -92 dBm ad -93 dBm respectively. If the signal drops by another 10 dBm, the devices would face constantly dropping data connection. The reviewer tested this with the same SIM card in all three devices, and at the same location.

This phone has really become one of my favourites.. just loved its sleek design and the gorilla screen touch. It feels almost weightless while holding it and yess the camera result is appereciateable!!

I recently acquired a samsung a3, it works fine. ONLY problem is that sim slot2 does not pick any sim card slotted into it. same sim card however, works well in sim slot1. Any assistance to help resolve this ?

when I have checked S5 (G901Y ) , Alpha (G850Y), A3 (A300H) with USB Audio Player Pro Trial routing audio through android it says DAC sampling as 44.1 KHz, But When A3 (A300H) , Moto G1, Lenovo 369i are checked with Neutron , It says DAC sampling as 48 , 44.1, 44.1 respectively. So Neutron Music Player is capable to identify Audio Hardware. Hence Samsung A3 (with native support to 48 KHz) resamples all other frequencies (e.g majority of MP3, Audio CD ) to 48 KHz so it may not fit for audiophile. I can safely say the audio quality of A3 is inferior to Nokia E52 (subjective opinion).
If gsmarena test DAC's native sampling frequency, as a part of their review , it will be great help
