Samsung A3 has excellent Rear & Front cameras , really it produces better photos in very low light if night mode is selected. Call quality is good, but not very loud (may not be effective in very high noise areas or for some hearing loss people). It is thin, it is metal, curved back (comfortable than holding Iphone 4/5) No Notification LED ( as it has AmoLED screen, app like NoLED or iLED can be used). External speaker is week, head phone audio is excellent but volume is low.
In fact my first phone dead within 16 Hrs of purchase, after 3 times shutdowns on its own. But it was replaced with sealed phone by dealer.This one is working OK.
Screen resolution is low, but surprisingly, i could not find any difference while reading any number of documents. But this low resolution is resulting in good battery life. With 4.5" screen, 130mm length phone it is very handy. Native support for of 44.1 Khz Audio (model purchased is A300H dual sim),2nd sim space can be as for expandable memory.Battery non removable, No Lag, Memory just sufficient (2GB used to be better). Really Beautiful, Smasung Alpha is better in every aspect (in similar physical size) but without expandable memory & FM Radio.
Bundled earphone is just OK, but if you want full frequency range & audiophile quality you have to buy a suitable from sennheeiser etc.
It has ecompass which is useful in maps & at the start of the journey with Navigation(once direction is achieved through moving the vehicle, navigation map will be rotated in auto, no e compass required?)

no gyro and only 8m camera,had 4 year ago s2.

I don't know if it is only in Asia but this Samsung Galaxy A3 does not have a card slot for a micro sd card. All official Samsung branches here in Manila can confirm that. So I am wondering if the specification listed above is from other countries...? I definitely would love a smartphone that has an external micro sd card for extra storage though.

where do i buy the sim card(nano sim) for this phone because apparently the micro sim it came with is too big for this phone.

I bought this phone around 2 weeks ago. This phone is totally superb. But my dad told me i have to buy the screen protection to protect the screen. But after i read this review, i thought i dont have to. Bcs it said this phone has corning gorilla glass 4. But yesterday i went to samsung store and ask about this phone and the officer said it has no protection. So who's correct? Does this phone have protection? Respond plsssss. I need ur help

I bought this cell phone. I have problem with him. The cell phone freezes. You`ll open application Whatsapp, Gmail, cell dial and finally Facebook, cell phone freezes. I saw in memory usage just only 100mb before Facebook Startup. Cell phone freezes and dont work well. I think this cell is not manager your memory very well. I dont recommend this cell phone for anyone.
