Pros and cons (August 2019 - present) 1 year old phone:
Pros:
Gaming-wise, it's ok. Mostly, I've only been playing ML and it does the job great.
Camera-wise, well it's stillup to parr. Not great but still good enough.
I've dropped this phone several times already but it's still in good shape. I even sat on it last april, it bent a wee bit. I pushed the bent part and now, 4 months later, I'm still using it for general purposes. 5/5 because even after bending it, the glass didn't break. No scratches. Superbly built for a cheap phone.
Now the cons:
After updating from android 9 to 10, it started being shitty.
Apps crashes about once a day at least.
About a week ago, it started to disconnect on the wifi. As I'm typing right now, it suddenly disconnected so I copied and pasted this to the Samsung notes.
The only thing I can do is restart the phone whenever it disconnects. When I try to reconnect on the wifi if I didn't restart the phone, it reconnects but it doesn't have internet. Major problem. There is about 5 phones in this house, an iphone 7, iphone 8, xa2 ultra, xa1 and this phone. Yet this is the only onw that gets disconnected for about 5 times a day.
It all started after I updated my phone os from android 9 to 10.
Well so far, these are the problems that I have for 1 year of using this phone.

I have purchased 7 months before,now I have problem on motherboard.Is this is not fair for this phone .I couldn't do anything.customer care not respond clearly.they don't give any warranty claim .now what I do... please don't purchase this model

Google map not working properly very difficult to identify the places. this is happen after the june month security update.
display brightness is very high. graphics performance is getting stuck or crash Ex: browsers and video players. Wifi download speed is very slow.

I was facing the same problem in my j6 after I updated its software from Oreo to android pie.However android 10 software troubleshooted it.

I am very sorry to purchase Samsung mobile A30S, because no option for call recording. I have tried so many times to install apps for call recording but no one is workable on this phone. so I advise to all mobile user to avoid to purchase samsung phones in future.

Great phone (especially for the price), good battery life too. Never had any problems with it and been using every day since bought not long after released for work and home (one that includes kids using it). Recommended.

V, 29 Jun 2020Bought this phone about 9 months ago and the battery drains... moreProbably the reason it drains fast is because the battery is Li-poly. Li-poly last longer than Li-ion when chared but Li-poly battery quickly depreciate over the year than Li-ion.
