      Anyway, he might gain some specs like OIS, SoC, 120Hz, battery, protection, software compared to the old one. It indeed isn't the only phone on the planet tho.

        P.S. Common status for unoccupied RAM on my A52s 6GB One UI 5.1 is 3GB used, 800MB OS reserved, 2,2GB free. No problems. No gaming (tho possible ofc).

          in theory the a50 has a better selfie cam, but a worse back camera.
          in practice, the backcamera of the a50 seems to be slightly better in low light scenario.... the selfie camera might be as well.

          daylight pics are slightly better on a32,
          but the difference between a32 and a50 is very little regarding camera quality.

            6gb or 8gb ram? i am not into heavy games, i am thinking will 8gb help with the ui performance in the long run with 4 os updates or should i save my money and get 6gb?

I'm still not sure about bugs, fixes or how timely are they there, plus X. support will last about half of S. time As for slower Android- On Samsung it comes along with UI upgrade. For me, the most new features are well used while updating cons are only minor. (currently on 2/3 OS/UI update) This also depends on phone, user, plans etc. tho.

              Agree with the rest. This phone's rating is okay, would buy also for family or if couldn't get better one for self. I wish makers cared and gave more info about their screens flicker, sadly it's the other way. Samsung either can't really be praised about it.

                      the pictures are practically identical, despite the A50 having better camera's theoretically.

                      A32 has faster CPU. So unless the A50 is too slow for your needs, you should wait until you can afford a more expensive smartphone.

                      Official samsung service centers are able to replace the battery in your A50 if it has lost a reasonable capacity.

                        this phone is a solid choice for those not prone to eyestrain or who dont use their phone a lot. so i bought it as a gift to a family member today, but i wouldnt want this phone for myself.


                        1/10 persons suffers from pwm backlight flickering induced eyestrain, and they are usually better off with a good old IPS screen not amoled.

I'll leave the choice to you, just say agree with earlier commenters. Personally would have a hard time to bet my money on MIUI over OneUI device. Nothing is perfect but I know what to expect from Samsung in terms of reliability. I don't seem to update my experience on current Xiaomis + MIUI any time soon.

I had mi 11i global version and i got android 13 two months ago

                                  Hi all. Please help me choose between Samsung A34 and Redmi Note 12 Pro. To my understanding, they are very much similar. Samsung probably will be supported for 3 years, meaning I can get Android 16. Xiaomi offers faster charging and a bigger screen. In my area, Samsung now offers free buds headphones as a bonus, but no charger in the box

                                        I just check about battery information on CPU Z and HW info, it says Li-ion nit Li-poly. So, is it true or not that this device using Li-ion?
