Anonymous, 27 Jul 2024Camera is so bad...The main camera is really good, the selfie camera is also great. It's just the Ultrawide lens that isn't on par.
You can see the quality for yourself next to other phones, "Soto-Tek" on YouTube makes great camera comparisons. 📷✨

It isn't anything special considering the price. The A33 5g was a much better phone in terms of camera quality as well as no heating up issue.

How good is the A35's battery life for a full day of use? My aging A7 2018 can't get a screen-on-time more than 2-3 hours before needing to be charged again.

Anonymous, 23 Jul 2024But those other companies don't produce as many yearly... moreI agree though, Samsung could've just spent their R&D funds in making compact versions of the A35 and A55, and release them globally. That way they'd earn more money instead of making these nearly pointless duplicates in the form of the M, F, and C-series for a limited number of countries. They should totally revise their entire budget lineup once more, like they did back in 2019.
If only Samsung would do their A35 or A55 lineup like this:
A35e/A55e: Compact version with a 5.9 inch screen, same size as S24.
A35/A55: Regular version with a 6.4 inch screen, same size as S24+.
A35 Pro/A55 Pro: Advanced version with a 6.7 inch screen, upgraded cameras, higher resolution display, and bigger battery. Same size as S24 Ultra.

Here are two good comments I saw on the compact A40 and A41 comment pages, respectively. They represent many others as well with the same attitude:
YourLocalPhoneCritic:
"Samsung should revive the A40's small form factor. It makes sense for a cheap phone to be small in size. Especially now that Asus Zenfone 10 was the last small phone.
Nobody should be forced to pay extra for the base S24 just to get a small phone. Please make an S25e that is reminiscent of the iPhone 12 13 Mini."
Pim:
"If only Samsung released a mid-range phone this size... all new models are too big except for the S23, S24... That's the main reason I'm still sticking to my A41."

Anonymous, 22 Jul 2024Those other companies aren't making compact budget pho... moreBut those other companies don't produce as many yearly phones as Samsung either. So clearly Samsung does what most other don't. So if they wanted to make some more money (which they obviously don't), they'd make an additional mid-ranger with the size and weight of the wildly popular S24. This budget option would be wildly popular among those that those that can't afford the S phone's price, but who still like devices that don't tire their hands and easily fit into their pocket. They'd definitely make more money if they made this, instead of a 4th clone of the A55 (which it's rumored the soon-to-be-released M55s will be) for a tiny segment of consumers (which is the typical procedure for their duplicate phones).

The only logical way forward for Samsung as a company would be to trim down the bezels, thickness, and weight for the A35 and A55's successors, so they can fit the same 6.6 inch screen on a smaller body. Which is what other companies are doing.

Anonymous, 21 Jul 2024Would be amazing if there was an "A35e" version w... moreSamsung won't do it precisely because it would be amazing. Non rich customers are at the bottom of their priority list. Either you get their heavy and clunky budget phones, or go to another company. They don't care about the money they're losing because of this.

Anonymous, 21 Jul 2024Something doesn't make sense.
The A35 has a 5,000 b... moreIndeed, there is absolutely no rhyme or reason to many things Samsung does. They create A phone clones and call them "M" or "F" phones. They Make a 5,000mAh battery version for everyone, and a 6,000mAh version of the same device for a tiny percent of people. They randomly make display sizes to different A phones in the same series, for instance: A53: 6.5, A54: 6.4, A55: 6.6. They randomly restrict many phone colors and storage/RAM configurations in many countries. Each year’s A2x, A1x, and A0x series phones are launched in a different month each time, and then they’re further fragmented in each country. Their monthly update system is probably the most random thing in the world.
The whole thing is just bizarre. There is no coherent strategy or vision.

Almost a month since I purchased this phone.
Pros
- low price
- 5000mAh (2d battery)
- 120Hz+ Display
- Great sound quality
- 25W (75.min Charging)
- 60fps & 2160p/4K
- Works like Xiaomi
- Great screen resolution
- Stylish looking design.
- 6.6 inches (I luv heavy phones)
Cons:
- Overheats, when I play Geometry Dash.
- Wi-Fi does not work properly
- Microphone speaker broken
I'll give this device a 9/10 star, because bluetooth is faulty. But it's still a very great or decent device.
